I would replace the pulse ls with regular Mlasers and throw in more SRM ammo. they are going to be your main damage dealer.

Here is the build I am headed towards for my HBK-4SP.
i run a std 250 engine in mine, like it a lot. nobody expects a hunchback to be running 81kp/h. most people know a hunchie is mean up close, so they'll attack and start to run, they wont expect for you to be able to chase them down while still having a lot of armor and ammo. also makes it easy to run up behind assaults and rape their backside.

Well. Lights are definitely a lot squishier now that the net code has been somewhat fixed. Lag shields don't work as well, I was actually struggling in my 3L...

Anyone actually gonna play or are we gonna sit here all night talking about the game?

edit to my hunchback post, i have 32 armor on each leg, and ams stuffed in there somewhere.

and 1 less dhs, 2 in one torso, 3 in the other. 1.35 on the effeciency.

The extra heat from the pulse laser is proportional to the extra damage. If I can manage the heat with 1.27 efficiency, I eek out that extra damage per volly.

I've been running around with one slot of SRM ammo and haven't felt lacking in most games. I like to be inside of 100 meters to ensure all 12 missles hit and maximize damage before I fire off the missles, and moving faster with the bigger engine makes that all the better. This build has two SRM ammos.

Endo, DHS, and Ferro give me the extra tonnage to be able to use the MPL's versus ML's. In the event the 1.27 Cooling isn't enough to keep a decent pace of fire, it wouldn't be a bad thing to run away for a bit allowing the mech to cool; typically if I hang out too long, I become the target in the swarm of mechs. Oh, and max'd armor.

Meh my cataphract x4 is pretty awesome outside of his speed... maybe i can take a heat sink or two off and get a bigger standard engine in there.

Optimum range for srms they found is between 125 and 150m. The missiles spread out at first, then around 125 they regroup, then past 150 they spread again.

yes my MKZ is super charged but I'm not sure electronically what the company limited it at (KPH) gonna bring it to the repair shop soon because my dad took my mech and hit the garage. Cool down rate is great.

exace someone on reddit said they got an atlas on top of a light mech and were able to run it around the map at 120kph.

HBK-4SP

I think that's my current 4SP build. The small in the head hardly gets used, but it has won me a couple of close fights when the rest of my weapons were blown up.

EDIT: This is my favorite Hunchie so far: HBK-4P

I can chain fire the mediums forever without overheating so as long as I can hold the reticule on the enemy I can just deal constant damage until they cry and go home.

do ultra ac5's still jam/explode? wondering if they would be worth jumping from regular ac5's to ultra. I would have to carry less ammo i think.

They still jam but they auto unjam. They can pump out rounds fast without jamming if you get the rhythm down.

Just realized my catapharct has .7 tons unused.. wonder if i should case the ammo shoulder and not sure about the extra .2 tons

If you have a lot of armor I would just take a little from the legs to give you a full ton and add a heat sink/ammo/Mlaser but if you don't have the armor to spare CASE isn't a bad way to go.

Moving the heat sinks to double and putting them on my torso means if i lose both side torsos i have no weapons what so ever. Or in this case if i lose the torso the heatsink is on i'm boned.

The 9A I'm using is hard to get used to, I liked my yen lo a lot better =/
