you didnt play living legends? imo it was amazing, just hated the fact that every game it reset and you had to try and get 6 kills to get enough credits for any decent mech

I think the only one I owned was MW3? If I remember correctly I always used a mech called supernova i think it was, had like 8 lasers on it, powerful but damn thing would overheat with 3 bursts

i think that one was my fav, course only ones i played were 4 and the merc. expansion. but it was fun to put an ABX20 on it and kill dashi's by running faster than they can turn and shoot them in the rear

and yea 4 was pretty much everyone running around in nova/mad cats blasting away with the heat turned off.

The shadowcat or the "Scat" was an important component of any succesfful lance in MW3. It offered the best balance between a scout and a medium-mech... capable of assaulting and bullying mechs twice its size with its speed and weapon/armor feats.

They dumbed them down for mW4..horribly, though. :/

Yea, I used to love them in 3, 4 I couldn't stand them. I liked messing around in an uziel though, er ppcs and streak srm6's. Long range, dash to short and just blast away.

Edit: lol I would take a heavy mech, strip all the armor, boost speed and just get as much heavy weapons as I could, rush in and kill 2 up close before getting killed from a small laser. Kamikaze is so fun and unexpected.

This game will make my life complete. I can't wait.

I hope they'll have Zeus as an option (90 ton Assault mech) but I doubt they will.

we'll have to wait to see what the color combo's are, and dodgy as our flag? me thinks


i like the zeus, but it always seemed to get blown apart pretty easily by other assault class mechs, but maybe i shouldn't attack atlas's with them... needs more dire wolf when clans come out.


also asked marsbars if he would come play with us when it come out and got a "you mean that robot game?"

Mercenary works for me. I just liked the Zeus because I could throw an assload of ERPPC's in it and go shoot people's legs off from 800m with one alpha strike.

I only used it in MC2 though, hopefully they have a relatively diverse amount of mechs to choose from.

Dodgy flag would be amazing.

well if its from the beginning of the story wouldnt it only have like 12 mechs?

I could see putting more mechs in just for multiplayer but then ppl would be like the-f? why are these mechs not in my campaign... RAWR RAWR RAWR

The "bay" system of adding weapons and gear was something that was part of the Clan Mech mystique. The OmniMech designs made customizing easier, while the Inner Sphere Mechs were generally stuck with what was on them from the factory or something cobbled in as a battlefield replacement. Putting bays on every Mech was done really only for video game play.

Meanwhile, the Zeus is an 80 ton Mech. Just FYI.
