That's not a bad score. That's about what I get. You wont get xp until you actually buy a mechanism. But in a light im starting to get the hangbof scouting and im getting more and more points from spots, then waiting till bigger teammates go in until I start shooting and get assist points.

Found a few sound issues with the patch, but nothing major so far. Still can't keep my mouse in bounds of the game, which is super annoying.

yea missile boats require the most help from other players with spotting and close range protection. nothing comes close to the shear firepower though.

I used one with 4 SRM6s last night. It was pretty fun. I tried it with 6 Streak SRM2s which is what a lot of people do. You can chain fire those infinitely and it's insanely annoying to be on the receiving end because you're screen is just shaking constantly. I just didn't like using it because if your target shuts down from over heating you can't do anything because you can't lock on. Plus I prefer being able to do massive damage in short blasts. The Streak boats just whittle away at you while you seizure from the impacts.

Speaking of impacts, I wish you got a little more feedback from being shot by a Gauss. Sometimes I don't even know I got hit with one until I glance down to see my head armor is gone and I'm about to die.

Yea, getting hit by anything except missiles you get almost no feedback. The hit markers in general could be done much better, half the time I don't even notice I'm getting hit in the back cause they are so low key. Also, removing hit markers for when you hit the enemy sucks, I can never tell if my sniping is working with my lasers or ppcs. Gausses at least have a mini explosion when they hit so you can see that zoomed in.

yesterday i got stuck in place with an atlas, because i was getting lrm chained so hard by a catapult i couldn't even move.



BTW my new favorite thing to do when facing off against medium and other light mechs while in a jenner is to tackle them and let my team mates take care of them... this centurion was picking on a raven so i takled it then me a hunchback and the raven gang raped it.

i was noticing this, in the old games you had alarms going off if you had missle launched at you, and you would get visible screen frizzing if you were hit anywhere with a lazer. I'll be wondering along then all of a sudden "damage critical" will pop up and all i can think is wtf since when am i getting shot?

Well with energy and ballistic weapons your reticule will turn orange when you hit an enemy. With missiles it will turn orange when it impacts anything, including the ground, so it's no help then.

I played a game last night where I had come into the enemy's base keeping my self busy dismantling an AFK Atlas while I capped, while apparently an enemy came up behind me and decided to dismantle me why I idly went about my work. I literally didn't know he was there until I realized that half my missile banks were gone.

I don't see the reticule turning orange. It used to have an extra red circle appear when you hit a mech for any sort of weapon. Now there's no indication to me at all.

my atlas was laying into a jenner earlier just ripping it appart, and all of a sudden i died... turned out i had a catapult lasar variant sitting behind me eating away at my rear armor the whole time....

lol k2's are deadly. I don't like the double gauss cat most people have turned them into, I use erppcs and mdl's on mine to not cheese it up.

I haven't had the hit markers work since the patch before this one. Is there an option to turn it on and off?
