Is my noid shot?
Okay so this weekend my daughter is using her NT10, working perfectly, I had just teched it the night before. It quits shooting, so I inserted a new battery, still won't shoot. Take it apart, check and replace all o-rings re-lube. Nothing.
Check HPR pressure OK
Check all wires OK
Switched bolt out of my other NT Nothing (but her bolt worked in my NT)
Reset board Nothing
Only thing left to do started turning up the dwell 1ms at a time......When I got to twenty it finally started shooting but you could tell it was hot of course.
Can you service the solenoid? or is it shot?
Any more ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Ian

My guess is, yes. There is no servicing it and they blow out so randomly too.

Also get a virtue board. I believe the stock boards are the cause of blown noids.

Is the OLED worth the money? Or should I just get the LED. Keep in mind I'll have to get 2.

Depends on how much you are paying for em.
Once I set a board, I don't find myself messing with it. OLED has the cool factor and easy to change settings if you like tweaking during the day.

No, I set it and forget it.....that's why I still haven't upgraded to the 2013 Ripper yet. Might just buy the spoolie engine and be done.

Correct. But when dye made it, they marketed it more towards poppet owners, rather than dm owners. That's why a lot of dm owners don't/didn't like it.

The only way that they marketed it towards poppit owners was that it was more efficient then the DM.

It wasn't marketed to poppit owners.
It's a very efficient spool, that's all.

It wasn't as soft on paint, it was faster, better efficiency

I guess not really "marketed" towards, but more poppet shooters liked it better.

Doesnt feel or sound anything like a poppit to me. Just a snappy spool.
Only spool Ive owned thats smooth and efficient is the GT.

In my opinion the OLED is worth it. It's easier to program (visually) and has settings that easily can be switched back and forth to. Plus it comes with rechargeable batteries, so in the long run you'll save money on the 9v batteries.
