08 SLG- Not firing

I have an 08 SLG. When I hook up air to the marker with a new battery the marker will not shoot the paintballs. I can hear the solenoid clicking when the trigger is pulled. I have tried it with the eyes on and off. Any suggestions?

Did you take out the bolt and lube it an make sure nothing is in there or jammed?

how long have you had the SLG? is it new to you or have you had it along time and its just now giving you problems?

I ask b/c back when they first came out some of the 08's where not honed correctly (the I.D. of the body was too small for the bolt to travel through) in that case you need to send the gun to DYE for them to fix it.

If its not new to you i have to ask, have you replaced the bolt O-rings recently? If so, did you use the correct size? Is it properly lubed? What is your FPS? What is your operating pressure?

It is new to me. I bought it sometime last year but was not able to play. Now I'm able to play so I pulled it out of the closet. When I bought it I was not able to shoot it but was told it was in working order. I'm taking it apart now to look inside.

I took it about and looked at everything. There is some lube on the bolt. I don't know if it is enough. The o rings seem to all be good. I put it back together. I added air and test fired. This time it did fire. I only loaded one paintball into the chamber. After it fired it made a rapid noise(Like machine gun firing or an air compressor filling..very fast da,da,da,da,da,da. It stopped when I turned off the air. I didn't put the trigger after the first shot. Is there special lube needed to lube the bolt? I will have to pick some up because when I bought it, it did not come with any. I have a 3000 psi tank. I don't know the FPS because I just shot once before the noise and I didn't chrono. I don't know my operating pressure because it does not have a regulator.

just use Dow33 lube. look up how to lube the bolt on youtube.

as for the full auto, thats comes up one a week on this forum lol. Basically all you have todo is up the FPS to 280 or more. that is all, your ready to play

You need to maintain spool valve markers with a very light amount of lube often. Take the bolt out, take it apart, and wipe it all clean, then re-lube it and try.

Thank you for all the help. It is working now. I hope to go play soon to see how different it is compared to my spyder clone.
