Playoffs- HERE WE GO PATS
Being a huge NFL fan, figured we could do a weekly prediction thread for the NFL games coming up. These games are gonna be hard to predict because of injuries but here we go.
Bengals vs Texans..
Two words, Arian Foster. Its gonna be close espcially because of the Texans QB predicament and the Bengals run defense. Don't count the Texans D out though who have played well all season. In my opinion probably the toughest game to call, Dalton and Green look good.
Lions vs Saints
New Orleans has always played well at home and has one of the best working offenses in the league. Granted Stafford and megatron put up significant numbers, I still think the Saints will be to much for the Lions Defense. Saints by at least 10.
Feel free to talk about any football. Including how good the pats are
Falcons vs Giants
This will depend on what Eli we see. If its the crap shoot eli, good bye Giants. The falcons offense who has been finally clicking will face a very good pass rush, but I hope Turner puts a burnin em. Also, Eli is always lookin like he lost his dog. Will be a good game but I hope the Falcons crush them
Steelers vs Broncos
Although the Steelers have been plagued with injuries, (mendenhall out, ben ankle sprain), the Broncos offense put in the simplest terms, blow. I am a huge Tebow fan and love to see the guy win, but the Steelers are vets when it comes to playoff games. I go with the steelers on this one with a huge defensive touchdown. If Big Ben looks mobile, Steelers by 14

god damn those are some good picks dan. i agree with all of them and i so badly wish i didnt because i know i could make some money off you
the only pick i would consider going against you on is taking the Giants over the Falcons but being a pats fan there is no way i can ever root for the Giants...

I remember a time when Eli found his puppy and routed an undefeated pats team in the superbowl; ring any bells?
I agree with u in that if crap Eli shows up theyre screwed; but with the momentum they have and Eli's fourth quarter drives they could be on their way to another 2007/2008 win!

Dont even get me started on that game...
But the giants are not a bad pick to win the the superbowl. They are something like 20:1. So Ken, head to vegas and place a shiny black chip on them

nfc is tough. no real slouch teams in the playoffs. Honestly the saints and the packers have the best shot, but dont count out the lions or the giants.
Pats all the way, and nothing will ever change that.
Edit: Forgot about San Fran, they got a solid defense.

I think that the 49ers don't have the offense of a Super Bowl caliber team.

Agree, their offense is terrible, Defense is amazing though. I think they only let up something like 1 rushing touchdown this year.
You need a good quarterback to go far in the playoffs. Alex smith doesn't cut it yet.

If defense wins championships the Patriots are in trouble. Luckily they have a deadly offense. Only time will tell!

Funny thing being no one will ever remember that superbowl win by the Giants..and the 2007 season won't be known as the year the Giants won the superbowl. Worked out swell for them, huh?

PS: Patriots secondary couldn't cover Steven Hawking...ie: Watch for McCourty/Arrington/Moore to give up tons of yardage.
McCourty let up something like 1000 yards passing this season..or was at 985 yards at the start of last week..luckily since the Patriots have no confidence in him as a corner, they played him as a Safety lolz.
Either way, I'll be at the games freezing my sac off having a good time..hopefully we'll see an AFC Championship game at Gilette.
GET LUBED UP!!!
That is all.

Hopefully we get an AFC championship game comin our way

How will people not remember them winning the superbowl?
Giants will beat Atlanta. Bengals over Texans. I'm good with the others.
