In true PSP "race to" format one doesn't play all teams.

3-4 prelim matches is average for this type of format with this particular number of teams. That was the average for the BRPL 2011 events we had last year (except for the last event in which we played TOO many prelim matches and extended the tournament to 5pm! Good times!). There needs to be a good mix of play, down time, entertainment so everyone is happy. After practicing for this over the weekend, I gotta work on my cardio for sure. I don't think I will be able to handle ONE prelim match let alone all three.

Did anyone find a red pod with a folded up swab, allen wrenches and a hopper cleaner stuffed in it? I think I dropped it on the way home. That's my lucky kit.

Good morning AFPL Teams looks like it is going to be an awesome day for a tournament 67 degrees and sunny We will be releasing the schedule on Wednesday. Captains meeting will be at 7:15am and the first match at 8am SHARP. Sorry for the early start but there will be a lot of matches to be played. Welcome to the 1st event of the So Cal Pump Coalition

i have to wake up at five since colton is like a two hour drive for us. and i usually wake up at 7 30 so a bit early since i have to wake up at 5 00 that day.

Ok fellas here is the schedule. We broke it up into two groups. Group #1 should be at the field no later then 6:45am and Group #2 no later then 9:30am. There will be 2 captains meetings 7:15am for Group #1 and 9:45am for Group #2. Hopefully this helps out some of you that have to travel for this event.
