Unfortunately, ANSGear has turned into a huge force in the world of paintball merchandise sales. They are now a necessary evil for most manufacturers to deal with if they want to sell their products.
7th Element will not be giving ANSGear any **** over what happened with this board. And Dye wont be saying **** to them over what happened with my reg.
They have no choice but to accept what ANSGear is doing with their products, and to their customers, because if ANSGear stops selling their products, it would be a huge blow to their company's sales. In the case of 7th Element, ANSGear is the biggest retailer of their products, so ANSGear has them by the balls.
I only wish internet sales hadn't run most of the proshops out of business, because if most people bought their products at local proshops, ANSGear wouldn't be as big as they are, and wouldn't get away with the **** they do to people.
7th Element isn't to blame for the used board you got. ANSGear obviously sold that board, and it was returned because it was defective. Instead of returning the defective board to 7th Element, ANSGear merely sold it to Phantomo. That's bull****.
The problem with the defective board belongs to 7th Element, and they offered to replace it. There isn't much more they can do to make this right. They can't refund the money because you bought it from ANSGear. If the guys from 7th Element are reading this, let me just recommend American labor for your manufacturing needs, so as to avoid this type of defective workmanship. (I have to give props to my fellow Americans in the workforce).
Phantomo........you can have that board replaced by 7th Element, or return it to ANSGear for a refund. Personally, I think you should return it to ANSGear for a refund, and buy directly from 7th Element. Or, you can hit me up again, and I'll take care of you. Either way.....don't let ANUSGear off the hook.

This is exactly what i would do Phantomo, any of the options above are excellent including if you decide to buy from Chuck, outstanding guy....

OK to clarify. "Sorry" was their response to ANSgear selling garbage to me. Also yes Airboss said he would replace it, and would like to look at the defective board because it is so unusual. he provided his address this morning.
I have already struck a deal with Chuck. I also have 2 G4's. One is my wife's. The replacement 7E board will go in her G4, now that i have already struck a deal with Chuck. Chiasmus (close).
I'm not happy with ANS, they sold me crap.
I'm dealing with 7E, they are trying to fix the issue. So it would be unfair to attach an emotion on them just yet.
Though I can't help but feel cheated, the appropriate people are on the case.
I have a local shop BSP in industry. It was CCpaintball in Corona but i have moved recently. Though they can get whatever i need, BSP gets their ordered stuff from ANS. CC as far as I know does not. Extreme Pros in Garden Grove (Oringmonkey.com) are a pretty good, family run shop. I try to buy from local shops whenever I need something. Unfortunately i was told that getting boards takes time, and not to trouble myself with trying to buy them locally.

It's always going to be an opinion. Different people, like different things when it comes to their grips.

I guess the grips question is just silly. Trying to keep my mind busy while I await the arrival of either board.

Also, it doesn't matter how sticky any rubber grips get, because once they get sweat, water, moisture or greasy *** paint on it, they slip and slide just like Lexan and plastic.

Just an Update. I heard from Airboss on the 15th. He said they were changing their Firmware, and wanted to know if i want the board NOW, or if i can wait for the firmware upgrade.
My question was; What's the difference?
I still have a crappy board. ANS told me tough go to 7E. I guess waiting is going to become my specialty.
Every Paintball related item I ever bought off of the internet has been ****ed some how. I haven't seen the APE board yet. knock on wood.
In the meantime while I wait for these boards to show up I am out about $170. Like I used it to light my oil drum to keep warm. Except I aint WARM!

There is no need for that. Post nice, or just stay out.
