Bringing on a couple more infantry only maps is not "only catering to the COD crowd" IMO. People call people vehicle whores all the time even if it's part of the game. I like the idea of multi-level close quarters battles. I think what would be fun would be a chopper that spawned at the top of the tower (like a little bird) that you could use to blast people through the tower windows.

many battlefield players will enjoy a couple smaller maps thrown into the rotation. i know i will. just cuz a game has a couple infantry only smaller maps doesnt make it resemble COD. i know i get a little bored sometimes playing the same rather large conquest maps. it will be nice to switch over to some smaller maps to work on weapon progression with some close quarters fast paced action.

I'm suppose to wait for a dcl with no release date. Didn't know people still has faith in what dice claims and says will happen, I remember similar promises on release and for b2k. But I guess I did hold hope way longer then I should have for cod. Probably what they mean "will include largest map ever created for battlefield on 24 player console"

I think the game needs more variety of map terrain types (snow, desert, et cetera) but on the whole it's been pretty good.

Not sure we are playing the same metro, the metro I have played is exactly that unless you are in a party which is a different class of op...

Yea, that was a horrible map for infantry, which ended up being 75% of the team on 64p. Bush wookies ruled that map, I almost stopped playing BC2 because of it. Not surprised they put that single player map in for a mp makeover, kinda want to experience it.

I never played the 64p version. I played 32p on it once on a friends computer. There aren't really any camping spots which give players a big advantage. The only legitimate one is the ticket office, and even that isn't very secure.

Also, you can't consider playing as a party and teamwork as OP. Games like this are supposed to emphasize teamwork and favor the team that works together better.

Well you aren't supposed to go running out into the fields. Hell on foot it would take like 5 minutes to run from deployment to an objective. The only time you really need to be out of a vehicle on that map is directly on and around the objectives.

Imagine jet fights on that map though. I don't even fly jets much but man that would be awesome. Plus the standard helis that they had on that map. Just thinking about it makes me want to play it.

You've never played it on pc have you? At 64p every vehicle is taken as soon as it spawns, so you're left at an objective with no vehicles to get you to the next one. Walking happened quite often.

Well PC has no in game voice so any group playing in a party with a voice system has more of an advantage than any unbalanced weapon could yield.

Benji fails again. Did the same thing last thread, changed title for no good reason to some **** title, then when we complain asks what we want as thread title then ignores us. I wish Clay was mod for this section, at least he would get **** done correctly.

64p Metro almost always breaks down to a stalemate with the Russians controlling B and both sides turning the stairs and escalators into killing fields. If one side does happen to break the stalemate, then it always results in the other quickly getting pushed back to their spawn, where they have little chance of getting out of it.
