Why dont I anodize more often?
So I just finished a 11' Rail and I'll be posting pics of a slime green/pink phantom tomorrow (hopefully). I gotta it done before the semester starts.
Proto Polished. Dust finish is a real bear to take off. Had to use a dremel to polish all those aggressive lines.
The picture doesnt do it justice. It's a brighter pink in real life.
Tomorrow's agenda
I still have to polish the trigger frame. Im real interested to see the light green/pink splash.

Make sure to remove the stainless steel threaded inserts from the valve body and breech. They are red loctited in.

Thanks. I was stoked to not see a single blemish.

Haha yeah I learned that lesson when I anodized my last phantom. Unfortunately it's hard to remove those inserts without destroying them. I have some replacements in the mail as we speak.

Glad you know...sorry you found out the hard way. How did you manage to get the pump arm stop pin out of the trigger frame?
You did a great job polishing the parts. By hand or machine?

Oh man it's a bear to get everything out of that frame. This time I made the owner dissemble everything first or pay me to do it. I did the polishing with a machine. My original plan when I started was to do my polishing by hand, but that got old real quick. The machine saves so much time.

Haha....tell me about it. Mike does sell raw parts as an FYI. I use a small 1/3 hp Baldor motor to polish stuff...hand polishing is for the sux.

Mike is the man. He's always friendly and knowledgeable.
I could only get one of those parts done today. Total bummer, but at least it came out nicely.
