MPOC 2012 – UPDATES

We had a great season in MPOC 2011 and we are gonna up it again in MPOC 2012. We will have Race-To-3 for Division 2 and Race-to-2 for Division 3. Roster size for Division 2 will be increased to 9 players. Race-to-1 format will still be used for Division 4. Scoreboard & infrastructure will be upgraded to cater accordingly.

Don't forget that the MPOC is the League of Champions catering to quality rather than quantity. Slots are limited. We have room only for positive teams with positive attitudes towards advancement for both team and sport. Cheers and see you in the MPOC 2012!


MPOC 2012 – 1ST LEG ANNOUNCEMENT

We are extremely pleased to announce the collaboration with Nemesis Paintball Club in the merging of the PRA Malaysia Open and the 1st leg of the MPOC 2012.

It is done in the spirit of keeping participation in tourney affordable whilst giving the best possible quality. The collaboration sees greater prizemoney for the 1st leg and possibly a record number of teams in MPOC history. A win win win scenario was found in a historic meeting yesterday and we hope every
paintballer will enjoy the fruits of that meeting.

MPOC 2012 - 5th Leg - 22 & 23 September - Grand Finale in Putrajaya

Division 1 - Format Race to 4 - PSP or Millennium Ramping - 12bps - (10 mins of Game time)

Division 2 - Format Race to 3 - PSP or Millennium Ramping - 12bps - (8 mins of Game Time)

Division 3 - Format Race to 2 - PSP or Millennium Ramping - 12bps - (7 mins of Game Time)

Division 4 - Format Race to 1 - Semi Auto (Mechanical) (5 mins of Game Time)
*For D4, own markers & own accessories encouraged.

FOR ALL DIVISION 4 TEAMS
To all teams who are in D4 and teams who are thinking of joining D4 in the MPOC in 2012 are in for a major treat. In our bid to promote the sport to more and more players..the D4 in the MPOC will be the greatest ever in our history. The 1st 20 teams that register for the whole season will be able to take back their markers for training (very low deposit required)...no more unreliablehouse markers...you will be responsible for your own destiny!!

Special training rates will also be arranged for your team at Xtion Paintball where you will enjoy the same benefits as the higher division teams.

FOR NEW DIVISION 3 TEAMS
For all D4 teams this year who are making the move the D3 or who have been requested to move to D3 but cannot afford to buy their own markers yet....fear not...the MPOC 2011 will allocate out your own personal house marker when you register for the season + the outlay of a small deposit. The marker will be competitive and is worth RM xxxx. It will have 4 ramping modes. This is only valid for the 1st 10 teams that sign up. Teams with markers will not be allocated these markers.


SPONSORSHIP BY MPOC (MERIT & VOLUNTARILY)
All teams that qualified for promotion to a higher division in 2012 shall be accorded the following sponsorship:

From D2 to D1 : 5 Boxes for each leg of the MPOC 2012
From D3 to D2 : 3 Boxes for each leg of the MPOC 2012
From D4 to D3 : 1 Box for each leg of the MPOC 2012

All teams that voluntarily moves themselves up a division will qualify for the same if they register for the entire season.More reasons for teams to perform at their utmost and earn their sponsorships. For those who are unsure, please kindly contact Paul +6012 2184333 for clarification.

Teams that have gained the honour of promotion in 2012:
Teams that do not wish to be promoted must write in explaining why they cannot make the transition to the higher division. Reason such as change in roster weakening the team can be accepted if genuine. All teams that voluntarily register in a division higher than the one they played in last year’s MPOC 2011 or MY-NPL 2011 will receive the same sponsorship if they register for the entire season.
