GoG eXTCy upgrades

What upgrades are there for the GoG eXTCy besides the QEV, bolts, and other stuff...like the stuff from CP such as the ion triggers or something like that

I know ProjectPb sells most of the GoG upgrades, the rest you may need to google

Any Ion/Impulse threaded barrel will fit for a quick upgrade.

With the gun being new, there are not to many mods for the marker yet. You can upgrade the barrel, on/off asa, bolt and reg right now as they are all standard parts.

The reg, once broken in, is one of the best on the market hands down. I also recommend a Freak Barrel as you size your paint for better efficiency and accuracy.

Couldn't agree more. I don't know why so many people swap out the reg on their Ion/NXT/eXTCy/etc. Amazing regs.

Ion triggers do not fit the extcy. I also wanna add that ion banjo's do not fit the extcy also. But like Josh said its still pretty new and I know that CP is working on triggers for all are markers.

thats weird lol, someone said in a review on ansgear.com that he put a cp trigger on it and i assumed it had to be ion because they both work with microswitch

The grips are different and the trigger sets differently. Unless you hear it for someone associated with the company, don't take it for fact.

Ion triggers won't work because the Xtcy uses an eNvy/G1 style board, and the microswitch is in a different location than the Ion. On the Ion, the same part of the trigger that holds the magnet also actuated the microswitch. On the new guns, the microswitch is above that are and the trigger needs to have a small separate arm machined into it to reach the switch. Not saying a creative and mechanically inclined person couldn't figure something out to make an Ion trigger work, but if you don't have the know-how don't take the risk of messing up your gun.

techT l7 bolt- best bolt on the market for eXTCY, dropped my psi about 25 and much much smoother shot.
barrel kit- goes without saying
qev- didnt drop my psi, but with lower dwell i got about 300 shots more per 70/45 CF stubby
trigger- your choice, i have the violence series scythe, modeled after the timmy triggers, also their is the" old vibe" trigger that gog released. and a rake trigger by i believe cp
reg- the stock reg is decent, look into cp, bob long, or dye 360 swivel
asa- your preference if you like it
board- not really needed, but if you got extra cash around go for it.
feedneck- many like clamping, but i suggest getting a better screw one; they are much more secure.
then the misc things- colors, grips, etc.

Again, I suggest against switching out your reg.

I would say if you were to buy stuff for the eXTCy, it would be this and in this order:

1. Deadlywind Hollowpoint u3 bolt - outperforms the NDZ Skeleton bolt by a little bit, and the TechT L7v2 bolt by a decent amount. I like it MUCH more; smoother, quieter, and allows for a lower dwell than all other aftermarket bolts.
2. Clippard QEV - Best performing. Will beat any SP or ANS BS. I've used both.
3. Lurker Eigenbarrel in GoG/SP threadings, depending on location you'd pick the appropriate bore.
4. ASA. NDZ Inline Spinners are the best value. They vent, have a SUPER easy screw on/off design, and are inline. Not much else you can ask for other than the fact that they should match the gun's design.

No boards or triggers are out for the GoG guns unless they can accept Ion triggers, then the DW Fingerlock, Critical, and NDZ Slik/Razr series are by far the most wonderful triggers I've ever set my hands upon.

The stock HPR is awesome when broken in and vent modded, which is a super easy at home trick anyone can do. Tiny hole in adjustment screw or side of reg body where the spring stack is. Bam. Done. The Oring? Some lube every 20 cases or so and you're golden for another go.

Lighter bolt = smoother. Deadlywind is slightly heavier... Less weight = smaller surface area, so l7 again... And for barrel anything bored, there isn't necessarily a "best" but anything freak are nice

GOG guns can NOT accept Ion triggers, so don't bother trying and save that money for a case of paint.

Also, be careful about "modding" your reg as it will void warranty.

Trinity makes an after market trigger for the Vibe/Envy:

Trinity Trigger

Violent Series makes a trigger for the Extacy:

Violent Trigger

As for boards, Virtue and GoG both have upgraded boards for the G1/Extacy/Envy - They just use the same boards as the SP-1/Vibe. Might wanna do some research before trying give advice

The stock regs have a blow off valve inside them, no need to mod them.

I would say TechT L7 bolt, barrel and change the steel line to a macroline. That's what I'm going to do!

Macroline may look better and be easier to remove, but as far as calling it an upgrade I'd disagree... More of a lateral move. You'll never have to worry about stainless line bursting or leaking from the fittings unless you do something stupid to it, there's always the chance of a leak with macro.

I would go with a clamping feedneck, then bolt. Techt is good choice. Stock board is more than sufficient. No need to upgrade. And Josh is right on the reg, keep it stock.
