I only ask because it doesn't really look like we are getting many answers about the field, I understand the guy is building the business right now and is probably balls deep in legal, money, and life problems so I am not trying to be an ***, I just don't want alot of false rumors about this new place spread then when people get there they as dissappointed and don't want to ever come back.

The term "park" usually indicated several acres of land. i.e. EMR in PA is considered and labeled as a "park" due to its size. If, this is in fact a "park", rather than a "field" I have high hopes for this business.

Hey Guys,
I apologize for the lack of communication. I am the owner of the park and am happy to say that on Tues we were granted final approval from the Town Of Groton. I now hope to build one of the best paintball parks on the east coast. We'll see. The plan is to spread 8 - 12 fields over 50 acres. There will be wooded fields as well as scenario fields and a tournament speedball field. The tournament field may take a bit because it is going to be tough to find an area flat enough on the property. I hope to open in May with at least 6 fields and build the rest as we go. - "Like" Fields Of Fire Paintball on Facebook to see what's going on. Hey Folks,
I recently got in touch with Tom V (field owner) after I saw the article in the New London Day, and had the privilege to meet with him over this past weekend. I am stoked that something like this finally opened up down by the shoreline of CT. Tom gave me a behind the scenes look at the new field, and let me tell you all, it is going to be AWSOME! The scenario field is HUGE, and if I can compare it to another field I would say it is almost the size of Fox4’s scenario field/park. Best part is the location is great-right off the highway! Tom has a great vision, and has some wonderful ideas to bring to all player types of the game. However, we need to show our support in this. There are not too many fields here in CT, and what Tom is doing is bringing a wonderful opportunity to the table for all of us. I think the best way to show our support in this, is to give Tom ideas for his field in a professional manner and also maybe volunteer your help at the field itself of course with Tom’s permission. We all have experience in paintball whether you play speedball, scenario woodsball, and even airsoft. We also know how the game is played and how the games are ran. We all have played at other fields where there were things that we liked, and things we didn’t care for so much. I think the best thing to do is to take those experiences and share them so when this field opens up, we can all hopefully say this is a great place to play paintball. I support local business’s that are starting up here in CT and helping the economical status of both the state and towns. I also support the sport of paintball and keeping it alive.
