ICD-O Cash Money Build Off!
The lunatics finally wrested control of the site from me, and this is what they came up with:
http://www.icd-owners.com/html/index...wtopic&t=17620
The gist of it is, it's a pay to play, ICD based build off with the winner taking the pot.
Let the games begin.

It's a 12 month setup. Plenty of time to work it in.

That sounds like a lot of fun. Maybe I should pick up an ICD...

hmmmm...interesting...
posted this on ICDO as well but about these rules. Why can't we start with a freestyle? I know you say there isn't a whole lot of aftermarket upgrades, but isn't that the whole point of this contest? to make something custom?

I answered over on ICDO as well.
The main reason we decided to go with the bushmaster, is because they are cheap, and easily upgradeable. You can pick up a bushy for like $20, so it kind of gives everyone a good starting off point. Plus, with all the upgrades available for them, they will all turn out looking different.
That being said, if you wanted to enter, and the only caveat was that you wanted to do a freestyle, I say go for it. I mean, anything you do is gonna be sick. We just wanted to have one starting off point, so there would be a little continuity, and in the end, make the judging easier.
With your shocker background, I see why the freestyle would be a better starting point for you, but I'm sure you could make a bushy just as good as a freestyle

its a stacked tubed poppit. if you have used a timmy, ego, cyborg, spyder, etc.. you know how a B2K works. there are a few particulars that makes the B2K a B2K(the LPRs aren't bad, the HPRs leave a lot to be desired), but overall, they are rather simple and easy to use. there is alot you can do with them, and that's what makes it fun.
there is a FAQ over in ICDO, and i think there is one on PBN as well.

And they will get it, looks like. Now open to all ICD based platforms due to the demands of the masses!

Thundercats, HO!
If I can find a good deal on one at least.
Definitely an under utilized design. I got some rather crazy ideas for one.

I'm really hoping some one does a 'Cat. I've got a couple ideas, but it's not the platform I'm going with.

It involves a fox... and a few other things. I'm going to be cannabalizing two markers to make one. That's all I can say for now.
Edit -Oh my god. I just had another idea involving a fox.

Hunting down an ICD marker as we speak. I've got a few ideas tossing around in my head, just depends on which platform I can get cheapest/quickest
