NOTICE FROM PBNATION STAFF

I got a 22-day work week coming up in december. Yay.

So due to work issues and undermanning im un-able to take this class at northern VA CC. however I have withdrawn too late and im financially responsible for the 966$ the class cost. mind you I already had issues with trying to get in state tuition and other BS. so yea...Any idea's on how I might get the **** out of paying this bull****. ****ing colleges man.

Have your supervisor talk to your ops super and write a memorandum stating that due to unforseen circumstances that manning has become an issue and that all staff are to cancel their current curriculum. I believe that if you submit this to the school you can have it waved.

How late are you? a couple days? a week? If its like a week it could be to late... but if its a couple days then you might have time to still be able to submit it. If you have yet to start the class then thats even better but if you're already knee deep in the course there isnt much you can do.

But a memorandum stating your current requirements and how they will effect your school courses and how leadership recommends that you drop classes would be your best bet. Most schools understand this and just need an official document. Make sure it has the Air Force headings and is all official.

Hope that helps. Its gotten me out of a few binds in other areas so it might work for you. It helps if someone in your direct chain of command does it (above your supervisor). Its probably guarenteed to work if your commander does it. I will also guarentee your commander would sign off on it if you bring it to him because you're showing you want to take part in off-base/off-duty education but obviously you put the mission before furthering your education. So he might actually sign off on it.

Ill give it a try, the class started last week and I miss the day to withdraw without any repercutions(sp) by a few days so...we will see how it goes. Im going to hit up my education office and see if they can go to the school and help, if not ill get the dean's info and have the memo sent to him/her. or whoever takes care of the finances for the school. so farthe lady im dealing with isnt helping at all. It just comes at ****ty time. We lose manning, my car almost gets totaled, then im supposed to just have $1k laying around to pay this ****...fml

i am not a fan of school i know stepped into my first college class ever i do not know how i feel about it except i am dumb.

This is Possibly the fastest I have ever traveled anywhere in the military. If all goes as planned I will have made from my fob to my house in under 50 hours. Crazy!

About to do a bit of trolling on the sister squadron... They are planning on doing a bit of roof stomping for the new commander and I told them I couldn't do it due to religious reasons. The Huskers are playing that afternoon and LSU vs Bama comes on afterward...
