i just hopped online, still no servers.

Im on dpb source alpha
i have the original dpb also, not the source mod but it doesnt work when i tried to join a game before. the source works fine just no body online. Hard to believe no one at all cares about this game anymore

I sometimes host little private games for friends, but yeah, it's pretty much dead. Dunno why, it's really fun.

Did have a run in the summer time, always had the server full, more servers were popping up, more players, DXL 3man league but ever since the end of that seems everyone must of went back to school or something because, it's pretty dead now.

The DXL server has been up (and down, apparently some maps crash it) and there has been a good amount of people in it daily. When i mean good i mean anywhere from 1-7 people. I was thinking of buying a VPS and setting up my own server, but it seems a bit stupid to do as the population can barely even reach half for one server. But i like to keep the server window refreshing.

imo dpb woulda been better had they adjusted the HL1 physics and stuff. it never felt like paintball at all. u ran so fast the game was usually over before u could even yell out a position and stuff lol

You need a legit copy of HL1 to play.

There was some issues with the server company but it seems like it has been resolved and it is back up now

You CAN'T. You need steam and a legit copy of Half Life, its an HL1 mod.
