Saw the movie last night, it was sick as hell! I wish they woulda had legolas/gili/aragorn fight some more though. Thats my only critique. But ya, movie kicked ***

i liked it, the ending was a little dragged out. but that's how it was in the book so whatever.

anyways, the last samurai was way better than rotk

saw it last night, I thought it stomped the @(*&)# out of TTT.. Better fights, more Naz'gul (SP?) and a good tradeoff (gandalf/hobbits fighting more)

Though I would have liked to see the shire affected in ANY WAY by the army of mordor.

Cant wait for the extended edition.

i loved it. i'll be seeing it again with my dad, and maybe some girl that wants me to take her. also time to start in on the books.

the battles in this were definately just epic

wait what? the book had frodo and samwise go back to the shire and then lose touch after a while and then meet up and drink tea when they turn like 130 or so

also in the books frodo and sam were in their 40's or so

at the end of return of the king, they return to the shire to find that wormtongue and saruman have taken over. since they're now tough warrior hobbits, they kickass and clean up...

good movie, but i must agree that the end drew waaaaaaaaaay to long....too many "awwww" scenes at the end...

good, but not the best movie i've ever seen...

imo, last samurai slightly > ROTK (at least the theater version)

Would love to get the full dialogue on Gandalfs take on dying not being the end. It was really breathtaking and surreal. Great flick enjoyed all three of the movies. For the first time in awhile I actually felt like a complete trilogy flowed and had purpose.

Did you see the same movie as the rest of us? He only took out an entire Mumakil all by his lonesome, even though the Oliphant only counted for one kill. That was pretty intense.

I agree with everyone else on the points that the ending was a tad bit too long, and not true to the story. Also in that the main characters, Aragorn, etc, were not focused on as heavily in battle this movie as others, but that Legolas scene sure was sweet.

Peter Jackson said in an interview that they had to cute 1hr 5mins from the movie, So I cant wait til the extended DVD comes out, altho its gonna be nearly 5hrs long ! lol

lmao, when the elf knig dude was taking his hood thing in the scene where he gives Aragorn the sword, my bro, in his best agent smith voice (which is pretty damn good) was like "Mr Anderson, we missed you"...everybody around us got all pissed off...apparently no one else in the theater had seen matrix 3
