Seriously? If you aren't a videophile like myself, Ohio and JC are, then don't say ignorant **** like that. You wouldn't know. You just don't have taste like we do.

C'mon people, have some class. You don't just throw a cheapo $50 cable onto your systems. This is where the money can be very well spent.

the conductivity of the coating of the actual plug regardless of what is coated in does nothing for signal quality, the only reason connectors are coated are for protection from deterioration etc

There is no difference, its digital, its either on or off, no "grey" area...
In the olden days, it mattered, if your box send the color green to the tv, which exact green should it be? bad cables would make it slightly off. Digital avoids all of that. for example lets say the color green in a certain hue was this:
off|on|off|off|on|on
even on a bad connection it would be readable:
off|on|off|off|on|on
This Green on a good connection in analog
could come out like this on a bad connection

Stop lying to the populace, this cord will make your signal true HD, none of this fuzzy **** that other cables output.

It will allow you to watch TV shows 3 days before they actually air. Thats how great these cables are.
