You should all then switch to Egos. Yeah they don't shoot as nice and smooth as the g6r but boy are they pretty! G6R FTW.

Something tells me you have never owned or shot an Ego11... call it a hunch.

I have two friends with Ego11s, have owned an Etek3 and currently own a G6R. We have also had many Ego11/10/9/8s through the shop that I have shot. I played with an Ego11 just last weekend for awhile and let my buddy shoot my G6R. I have never owned a Geo so I cannot comment directly on it, but I can comment on the G6R, especially compared to the Ego11.

My G6R, ordered direct from Bob Long, needed a new LPR schrader valve right out of the box brand new. Took the gun out of the box the day it came and it didn't shoot. In Bob Long's defense, Zack has been extremely helpful when I have called. But, to me a brand new gun should work out of the box. Also ordered a pressure tester direct from Bob Long and it came non functioning (guess they had a bad batch). Again Zack helped me out, but disappointing that brand new equipment doesn't work.

After I shot the G6R a while I put in a LP poppet. The amount of parts you have to remove to access the poppet is a little much if you ask me, but not like you do it every weekend. Once the gun was back together, dow55 where it needed to go, the gun leaked (Ninja SLP before you ask). It took reassembly 3-4 times before the leak stopped. Also, each time I have gone to maintain the rammer, the cap has been difficult to replace because of the loose oring. Detents are great but springs are very easy to lose.

Geo2/Ego11 are super easy to maintain and don't require a pressure tester. They also don't require a LP/SLP regulator on your tank. You can completely disassemble and reassemble the gun with a small hex key set that's included. No orings picks, pliers, chopsticks, screwdrivers or other tools at all.

Sad to hear that. My G6R worked flawlessly right out of the box. You just had a bad experience with the gun and bad luck.

I would say yes and no on the luck part. The LPR needing new parts out of the box and pressure tester I guess you could call luck, but if the gun is tested before shipping, that should be corrected. Also, the normal maintenance on the gun is not based on luck, those are somewhat standard G6R maintenance issues. The body splitting in half requires extra orings and allows plenty of places to leak.

i've also noticed that those QC cards are bs, i've had to run mine at 80+/220+ to get to 290...i also saw a brand new one unable to hit over 260 on the chrono..i think the shrader valves seem so inconsistent from gun to gun and it appears that others have not been able to hit over 260 out of the box...nobody likes low velocity issues!

still voted g6r but i agree these are two of the best out right now-biggest thing PE has on its side is pure quality of product.

They are both great guns but I prefer the G6R, part of the reason is the service that Bob Long provide, the majority of the time if you call with a question Bob Long himself or his son Zack will pick up and set you up with anything you need to know.

I've owned both and you messed up lol I have a pink lady geo 2.1 and it's nowhere near a smooth and efficient as my g6r when it was tuned though.. But the Geo is still a solid performer has never gave me a single issue and it shoots really good as well but I can truthfully say I will own another g6 soon but I wouldn't say the same about the geo even though it's still a solid marker
