Take the macroline off of the reg and unscrew it and look in the manual for the detailed instuctions for the inside of it.

I suppose I am a little leery of internet information when I can't verify the source, but I have an 07 ego that I removed the QEV and installed a zick kit (out of a stock 08) and I am wondering what my LPR/ dwell settings should be. I see a thread about dwell tuning but really haven't seen anything addressing the LPR. I'd like to tune for minimal kick... (without ridiculous inefficiency)

My gun is leaking very very lightly, if have mask and playing U cant hear anything.
I put my ear by the gun and sounds like it is coming from the LPR area, and the other leak by the back ram/top portion of the back of the grip frame.
Any idea what orings I should change?
This is on a SL74 W/Zick 2 kit

Take it the body apart and air it up. You will be able to hear it more clearly. Then from there u can specify

Same thing happened to me last saturday. Take your body off of the trigger frame and turn the air on and make sure it is coming out of the solenoid. Then just unscrew all the tiny screws that are on the solemoid and screw them back in. That is what fixed mine last week.

Has to be a nick on the valve face. It is pretty easy if you use atool to force it in. Take it out and see if it is marked up at all. Also make sure it is in properly. If the gun shoots fine then most likely it is in properly.

When you use the banjo mod in the EGO7 I usually use a dwell of 12-14. The higher you go the less kick. The LPR only has a small amount of adjustement. 1 turn out from flush is roughly 110 psi to two turns in is approx 90. I usually set mine to 1.5 turns in. Any more in you are simply prematurely waring the springs.

Leaks from the solenoid are usually...
- Swap out 2 of the rammer orings. #9 in the front, #11 in the rear (see page 54/55 of your manual).
- Swap out the (3) 14x2 Orings on the LPR body. It is the part of the LPR that sits in the body of the marker that is held in by the stainless steel shaft located in the front reg mount (see page 58, figure 14.6 of your manual).
- Inspect the LPR piston regulator seat. It is the small delrin-like piece that is pressed into the skinny end of the piston shaft (page 52/53 of the manual). If missing you need to replace the piston...
- Swap out the #10 oring that is inside of the LPR Body. The LPR body is the part of the LPR that is mounted inside of the actual gun body. Unthread the LPR cap off and you can access the oring thru the front.
If it isnt the actual solenoid leaking it could be the QEV...
- QEV Diaphragm issue. Inside the QEV, between the blue and silver halves, is a rubber diaphragm. This part should be one piece. Make sure it is not ripped or cut (see page 63 in the manual). Also make sure that the person who changed it previous did not leave any of the diaphragm behind.

Does the gun cycle fine?
-Swap out the #11 rammer oring. It is the largest oring on the rear of the rammer shaft.
- Inspect the LPR piston regulator seat. It is the small delrin-like piece that is pressed into the skinny end of the piston shaft (page 52/53 of the manual). If missing you need to replace the piston.
- When you have the LPR apart. Make sure it is assembled properly. Silver pen like spring goes in first, piston with seal facing marker and then the gold spring goes over the piston shaft.
-LPR screw should be flush with front of LPR cap. Most you should turn it in is 1.5 full turns.
Solenoid dials should be at 5 and 7.

Hey Bill, would you please help me understand what exactly does the dry shot do to break the gun.
I mean, PE doesn't recommend to dry shoot your gun but I have this laser game that is sound activated that i want to use with EGO but I'm afraid of dry shooting it too much. I tried to figure it out by my self but i can’t find the physics behind how it may do any bad to the marker.
Could you help me with that?

Dwell at 11.5, Solenoid at 1 and 7, and your lpr set at two turns in from the flush. Mine shoots amazingg!<3

I hav an etek3 with about 5 cases through it and it recently stopped shooting. The led board glows blue when a ball is in the breach, as it should, but when I pull the trigger the led board blinked purple, which according to The manual means that there is a blockage, even though I hav cleaned the eyes and the breach and can't see any foreign objects, any ideas?

My ego 11's lpr spring is silver and looks slightly long then the gold one pictured in the tech poster... Is there variation or do I have the wrong spring?
