No difference if it is a sealed box. It will have the warranty card in it and everything it comes with if you were to get it from a shop.

Buy it from your local shop. It helps support them. Also, they'll tech it if you ever have a problem with it.

Always buy from the pro shop. The relationship you build with them can make your life in the world of paintball much easier.

Also if you buy from a proshop and end up having issues with the gun, they will more then likely help you out with no issues.

Plus your supporting the local field, which keeps you playing.

If you buy it online and it breaks, you will need to ship it in to a service center to have it fixed. If you buy it in the proshop, they will fix it for you on site and it will likely be cheap/free. More importantly, buying it in the proshop guarantees that you get what you are paying for. There's no risk of scams or shipping problems.

This a good relationship with your field/store owner has too many benefits to count. Spend the extra $100, the store owner is well aware you could get it cheaper online showing some loyalty might mean near free paint later down the road.

as much as i try to buy locally as possible, some shops aren't deserving of people's business. i don't mean price wise, i mean shops that are rude, lie to their customers, give false information, argue about it, and screw people out of their money. check out your local shops first. if they seem like a stand-up place and crew then i will gladly support them, even if it's extra monies. otherwise you're better off saving money and buying online.

You guys seem to be blessed with great fields. While I do actually have a great field, there are a more fields that don't care about customers around me than those that do. I do try to buy from my field, but sometimes I cannot, and I really only have the option of online.

This is wishful thinking to the point of blissful ignorance. You really think a shop owner who can put a $100 mark-up on a gun is going to give you free paint?

support your field

Check with your local shop/field before you buy online.
The field I play at gives you 5 days of play(including air) with purchase of any marker.
I would definitely support the field.
If you are lucky enough to have a shop/field like we do, the loyalty will go both ways.

This. I recently went to a trusted shop to get my timmy's feedneck fixed. Figured it was cheaper than sending it to BLAST. They shipped it to BLAST anyway and tried to charge me labor for both sides until I complained enough.

If you cna buy from a local shop, that deserves your patronage, I recommend that. I've had them cut me deals and give me free stuff in teh past at different stores. I've had one online store send me free stickers. once.

I agree. Buy local. But ebay will be the same experience as ordering something from a Paintball website
