Epiphany/Ion Seventh Element tuning

Do you guys have any recommendations for tuning a Seventh Element board? I feel like I'm getting pretty poor consistency off of my Epiphany. However I do realize I probably need to pick up a QEV.

Qevs make a difference what kind of bolt you use?

Recommend you don't use the firing can inserts unless efficiency is your main concern, the stock Epif solenoid and board are rated at a higher OP for efficiency with the inserts, the 7th Element may not be.
Tuning will depend more on the bolt and if you use a QEV or not
I try to run my OP below 180 stock or 150 with an aftermarket bolt&QEV,then adjust the dwell to get velocity consistant
Also use a bore kit like a Freak system,it will help also if your paint is a consistent diameter

No fire chamber inserts. Bolt is stock firebolt

The stock 7th Element solenoid is NOT rated for the higher operating pressure.

How you can fix this (how I did, anyway) is to pull the solenoid off the stock board and put it on the new one. It fixed my consistency issues (until I had to service my reg).

Lol... Where in the world do you get your information? The 7th element board functions fine with the Epiphany. Not to mention I run my epiphany without the fire chamber inserts. It kept leaking when I had the inserts in so I took them out. (Before you try and claim it was the element board, it was leaking with the stock.) the pressure is about the same as the ion without the inserts... Decently low. It's got a smooth shot, just wanted to see if I could drop the dwell a little and do some tuning since the 7th element board is running stock settings.
