Haha sounds quite bazaar but it might be not beneficial unless you have a mirror lens

I have never tried it, by if you really think about it, it is not a bad Idea. It has nice lenses and covers your ears and chin, the things that get the coldest fastest.the on my bad thing is that you wouldn't be able to wear a helmet but it is a good idea

I think it would work pretty well actually! Most people will look and go ?? but no one will say anything.
At the end of the day, who cares? Its not a fasion show, your there to have fun skiing/snowboarding/sledding... whatever. If people laugh, then they laugh.

I've used my proflex lenses and straps for skiing, but that's a lil different. The thermal lenses were some of the best I've used tho.

I have seen people using paintball goggles while skiing and snowboarding. However, ski goggles give you UV protection while paintball goggles do not. If you are just looking to protect your eyes from the wind and snow, they will do that, but the reflection of the sun off the snow can still damage your eyes.

Remember, nearly all paintball gear started out life as gear for other sports. Often motocross (goggles, gloves, jerseys, pants, and so on), but skiing equipment was re-purposed as well in the beginning. Scott was a big name in paintball goggles at one time, and now all they make is motocross and ski goggles.

I like it. I'm going skiing in a week and I might just have to take the vents with me.

I'd be awfully surprised if a paintball lens didn't protect from UV rays, particularly if it were smoke... Remember, just because something isn't UV rated doesn't mean it doesn't work.

I would totally take my Dye i4's with Mirrored thermal lense. The tint with combination of the mirror would probably be enough protection from the UV's. Plus it would just look bad ***!
I would only recommend it if you had a tinted / thermal lense. Without the thermal you are going to fog up to all hell.
