By December 31st, it's over for us. Yeah, there's a smattering of Americans still there... But no more "regular" military will be in the IRQ/IZ.

But! Im going to Kuwait tomorrow so I can get my flight to the states. Booyahhhh.

Whats worse, was everyvtime I came here, the brass had me by the balls more, and more, and more. I miss the sight of an 18 year old kid sending a wall of rounds downrange from behind the barrel of a M2 Browning. We'd cut them off and nobody would be between our convoys unless we were in Baghdad where it was crowded as ****..
Apparently you can't use the god laser anymore either but my PL's stance on the issue was "we'll use it until I get *****ed at".. He never got *****ed at.
