I wanted to let you know that after working with Andy at Nummech for the past few months, he's finalized his new metal TM-7 Selector switch and they're now for sale on his site ( http://www.nummech.c...etalswitch.html
I originally suggested this to him after having a day when two of the stock selector switches broke. The first happened when the side of the TM-7 got hit multiple times in quick succession, hitting the selector and causing the small connection point that goes into the selector barrel to snap. I had real problems getting the broken part out while on the field so just screwed the replacement switch in hard enough that it worked, which got me through the rest of the day, unfortunately I guess I caught it on the walk back to the car and broke that one as well.
Having been a tester for some of his Mini products, I contacted him that weekend and suggested that a metal selector switch might be a great solution. While talking to him I thought it would be a good idea to alter the shape of the switch to make it more difficult to accidentally catch and also improve the 'click' of changing modes. After trying out a few different shapes/designs, we settled on this one.
I'll get some pictures and video up early next week of mine.
