Absolutely. While we all realize there might be setbacks/delays, staying in contact helps alot.
TO be honest, since the older angels use the same solenoids as the DMs, i thought this might go a little faster as you could adapt the DM UL board to fit the frame and you are basically done. I wonder if its the buttons that are the problem.

What about the eyes? Are the eyes compatible? That also seems.like.it would be an issue, between ribbon and wire?

Oh totally, mea culpa. I run blind angels, totally spaced on the eyes. I wonder if they are trying to make a tabbed board (LCD/a4 compatible) that ill take both ribbon and wire eyes. That would be hard.

Well doc would have to answer for sure, but i dont think angels ever had wired eyes .
I know the a4fly-g7 have the one ribbon eyes, and a1-ark/sb have the two pieces eyes. Not sure how you would accommodate both of those. Here is to hoping!

Well no need for the a1 platform cuz there's several options of brands out and readily available.
Stick with led-g7 fly - one ribbon eye slot

I would think that if they didn't support wired eyes that would be a deal breaker for quite a few people. No?

Absolutely. Having the option to plug your eye in is great. If you have a LCD but don't want to drill your gun, fine, but the option is still there. Also with a4 fly-g7 fly users, they are already happy with the eye port option. |

The same ribbon socket was used for the eyes from the A4 Fly through the G7 Fly/06 Speed. They only changed it on the A1 (and even at that they just added a second one - it's still the same physical connector. Pinout is different though, obviously). The 7th Element board will definitely have ribbon eye support, from what I understand, but may or may not include DM-style eye support. Then again, neither does the Virtue, and neither did the Angry Tadao. I'd think most of the guns with DM eyes installed are probably already running Pred boards since most of the guns with 3mm eyes were done there.

agreed. if it can handle just the single ribbon angel eye style i think they are good to go.
