DM15 Tuning question

Hello Nation,

Im trying to fine tune my DM15. Any recommendation of what to set the hpr at while adjusting the LPR? Also, any recommended idea of how many turns to turn the lpr once the bolt sticks back? I've tried tuning it by following ******'s video but he doesnt mention anything about what the HPR should be along with any additional turns once youve found the spot where the bolt sticks back.

I've done what the video said but after shooting it through out the day, my bolt started to not cycle all the way. id have to push it back manually with my finger.

Help!

the easiest way involves using a chrono..
set the lpr to 3 turns out.. then chrono to speed.
now you can turn the lpr in until the bolt sticks in the breech..
begin turning the lpr up (OUT) until the bolt sucks back in the breech.. add about 1/4 turn. and you should be good to go.

the other way that ive used is set up the same way.. 3 turns out on lpr. chrono hpr to speed.
now turn lpr IN 1/4 turn. then chrono.. keep doing that process (1/4 turn) until you see the chrono speed drop... now go back OUT 1/4 turn. and you will be at the lowest lpr setting to maintain the same chrono speed.

pick whichever is easier for you.
again, this entire process is easier when you have a chrono.

So i shouldnt touch the HPR until i've got the gun shooting, once its shooting, adjust velocity according to what you need. And adjust the lpr to get consistency? correct me if im wrong.

you can set the lpr without airing up the gun.. so do that..
then air it up and go chrono.. adjust the hpr then.

then do one of the 2 ways i posted.
if you are at any time getting drop off, you can always up the lpr 1/4 turn to see if that fixes it..

I did the above and heard a small leak in the grip frame. Turns out I had to turn it 3/4 turn vs 1/4 turn for the leak to go away

Glad to hear. May be less efficient but I'd personally have a soft shooting marker then efficiency. Shouldn't be too much less efficient
