So, i got a black and white pump last weekend. Now i wanna take one of my black carbon fiber barrels and make it black and white to match it. Any ideas?

If your house was on fire and the first thing you would grab is your gearbag put this in your sig

If you've ever run into a screen door, put this in your sig.

Not very likely with carbon fiber. You'd be better finding a black and white 2 piece aluminum barrel.

So, no tape or anything? I was thinking of using white teflon tape, cutting it to the design i want, and putting clear coat over it to hold it down. Wouldnt that work?

That might work. But you need to think about the porting on the barrel, and the clear coat seeping through a d possibly ruining the finish on the inside of the barrel.

if u really must u can spray paint it but you will need to make sure all the porting is taped off so the paint doesn't get in the bore or ports.

also tape off everything you don't want painted and slightly sand the part you do with about 200-or greater grit. u don't want to gouge it just roughen it up a bit to make the paint stick better

i would use heat shrink tubing. they have both black and white but when shrinking go slow with the white you dont to burn it. maybe use hot water to shrink it in the center area just dont let water get between it and the barrel.

poke holes for the porting too

a good thing about this is that when it gets all ugly just rip it off and redo it with fresh tubing.

Do it right.

Duracoat with a base coat white, mask with your choice materials. Duracoat black.

You can use tooth picks to plug the ports and plug the front with a rubber stopper.
