Line-x options , opinions would be great , pictures...

Hello

i am getting my truck box line-x under the rails and the rocker panels on the 13th and i dont know what i should do for the sides

Option 1 - Rocker panels half way line-x all the way to rear bumper

Option 2 - Rocker panels all the way up to bottom of bump stop to rear bumper

Option 3 - Rocker panels half way up on cab then all the way up on the box to bumper

i will be putting 18's and 33's on in the spring time with a leveling kit , so i dont know if i should go all the way up to the bottom of the bump strips , if anyone has experience

i plan on finding some 2008 - tahoe hybrid rims and powder coating them like the ones here , if i can find some for a reasonable price...

i have a black slim over the rail box coming tomorrow , black emblems in the mail and i am changing the bumpers to iron cross ones next month

anyone will ideas??? would be great

I did option 2 on my truck and love the look of it, plus the added protection. You can always go higher but then it starts to look a little tacky IMO.

I think either way when you're all said and done you will have one sharp looking Chevy. What are you going to use for a leveling kit and tires?

A/T's or M/T's? I have experience with both and I have nothing bad to say about either. I'm on my 3rd set of M/T's (35x12.5x17). For being a mud tire they balance out etremely well, are not that loud on the highway, they clean themselfs out good and if rotated properly they have a long life. I managed 48k out of my last set, and that's on a heavy diesel truck.

Look at Daystar or Tuff Country for leveling kits/shocks. They usually have good pricing.

Better do the whole truck, wouldn't want to scratch it up if you accidentally bump a pole or cart corral at the mall.
