I have a ccm s6 and recently took it out, it was shooting inconsistant as all hell. paint to bore was fine so I figured it was the reg, switched out and put my CP reg on (which shoots consistantly @ 280+/- 4 ) and it still won't shoot right.

Also my auto trigger cam fell out and I'm having problems putting it back in, I was told to use the set screw under the trigger guard to hold it, but once I screw it in, the cam stays but it binds the trigger up. any ideas?

since the cam fell out, im pretty sure the inconsistancy could be due to the AT not being timed.

is it the new style AT cam (no screw) if so there should be a pin in the grip frame that holds the cam in. if its the old style there should be a screw on the pump arm that holds the cam arm close to the body. the screw on the bottom should only be adjusted just enough to hold the cam in. if its binding its too far in.

also paint to bore really doesnt help if the paint is bad

I believe it's the new style one. I've tried for a while, if I tighten it enough to where the cam doesn't fall out, the trigger binds, to little and the trigger works fine but the cam falls out lol.

if its the new one. there should be a pin that completely makes it impossible for the cam to fall out.



either way there shouldnt be enough play for the cam to fall out

ok then I guess it's the old one lol. my bad, I mis-read how you were explaining the difference between the cams.

If you're shooting one ball at a time, the AT won't have an effect on velocity. Chances are its just your paint, frankly. Also check your hammer's cleanliness... just in case.
