The two guns are very different animals. One is a spool, one is a poppet. At this time, MacDev is a "live" company, while APS is not (unless Tippmann actually does buy them, then we'll see what happens).

It's all personal preference. Right now I am shooting a Droid and would not give i up for anything.

It all depends on the person, I think both are amazing guns but I would prefer a Angel over a Droid.

Its whatever your a fan of I'm guessing, Go too your local field and see if anyone has a droid or an angel you can check out for yourself.

Look up reviews and tests of both markers and see for yourself, Also the features and stuff.

Yeah, they're just SOOOOOOOOOOOOO different that it's hard really to compare without being 100% based off opinion.

Other than weight, where the Droid wins, and efficiency, where the Fly wins.

Had an angel lcd about 6+ years ago? can't quite remember, was a nice shooter. I do like angels, always have and always will but in an intangible way almost. The A1 shoots very nice to me, again feel is 110% personal opinion. I.e. : I have a legend, I personally truly love the feel. The droid is a very clean all around gun, only have about 1/10th the time on a droid compared to a legend.

For a main marker personally I would say droid. Performance, reliability, and feel aside like what Pump said, Macdev is still going stronger then ever, while Angel is closed doors with a chance of a Tippman buy out.

Angel fans say what you want about this but again it is personal preference. Both are very fine guns.
