Looks interesting! I wonder why they chose to put the LED screen below the knobs instead of above. I definitely want to get my hands on one of these and give it a try.

EDIT: Current WIP. Not quite sure what I'm going to do with the second verse yet.

The track is swimming in reverb (try to only have one instrument with lots of reverb) and that downsweep sample you have at 0:33 is used in a Deadmau5 track (vengeance samples ftl). Your main progression (the one from the very start of the track) could also use a variation.

The percussion is nicely mixed, the overall idea is pretty creative and I'm digging the mood/vibes. Nice work.

EDIT: I think it's funny that you're using almost the same piano synth as I am in my current WIP.

Agreed on the reverb, I need to figure out how to send the strings and the different pianos to individual tracks so I can EQ them differently, I have everything on one. I know theres a way but - too lazy, I'll figure it out.

I threw that sample in there at the last minute! Gotta get some different ****e, I have the Vengance sample pack as well as the Deadmau5 pack. What else should I get.

I love the Reason piano synths!

Just thought I'd share a tip with everyone...
So when using Massive I've found it frustrating that it's not really easy to go between two desired LFO speeds (i.e. automating the cutoff to go from 1/4 to 1/8). In order to get past this I recently came up with a little trick; nothing too fancy.

Just add two LFOs of different speeds to the parameter you want to adjust on Massive (i.e., cutoff, resonance, etc.).

Set one of the amp levels on one of the LFOs to zero and the other to max (or whatever level you want).

Drag one of the macro controls on to both amp levels.

Set both of these macro levels inversely proportional to each other so that when macro "x" goes all the way the two amp levels will exchange, thus making your modulation change from one speed to another.

You can also use the envelopes instead of the macro contros.

This is one way of doing this. I just thought I'd share my tip for all of you that might find it useful. Feel free to take it or leave it.

Have you ever modulated your lfo using using the Velocity macro, and changed the midi velocity value to modulate at the speed you want? Kinda toy but it works too

Not the velocity macro, but I have tried it with the KTr macro.

Nice work.

If you haven't already, duplicate your high freq percussion and lead channels and pan them 20-30 left and right. Your sub could afford to be peaking higher too. You should also put a riser and/or snare roll at the beginning, before the drop.

I'm just loving the clarity in this mixdown.
http://soundcloud.com/****mylife/arcadia

How he has the sub on his kick, and the sub on his synth so separate and defined, I do not know. I've been trying to get this kind of clarity on my current track. Currently have my kick sub peaking at around 50-60 with my sub synth peaking at 60-100, but it ain't good enough.

here's a new tune I'm almost done with. I've been told it's some of my best work. feedback appreciated.

http://soundcloud.com/zale/uk-hardcore

and I've been writing this one alongside it. I think both of them are turning out to be top notch tunes, both took a lot of time and effort. I think my next project will be a uk hardcore/drumstep hybrid. I think it would be a lot of fun to do that.
