What do you mean you didn't see the day? It's technology...it's called progression.

And to the guy going off about coming out swinging as an opener - Feel free to look ****ing stupid playing bangers out to a room thats 80% empty. It's a good way to look dumb to the club goers, the promoter, and even the headlining DJ. Opening as a DJ is, believe it or not, considered an art by many, one that is respected by plenty of headliners.

In short - No, I don't want retards like you blasting the latest beatport top 10 or biggest "bangers" that are out to an empty room.

Press play, stare at phase meter, DJ house parties while people praise your amazing DJ skills. Also make sure you play a lot of skrillex/feed me/avicci and of course kill the noise. Other than that I think you are set.

I think he was just kidding. I learned just from messing with the program and listening to other sets on Mixjunkies.com. It's really not hard with all the easy technology, kinda sad that it's that way but whatever I guess.

Thanks brooo!!!!!

What I find funny about all the **** over sync is DJs reducing their craft to nothing more than beatmixing. So the average idiot is suddenly going to DJ the same/better sets than you because they don't need to beatmix?

what

edit: xone 22 doesn't have a split cue, kinda sucks at night time when i can't really have my speakers up too loud. I didn't even think to look into it before buying the thing because I just assumed it would have it since most mixers do even much cheaper ones

no...but if you can't put in the effort required to learn to beatmatch (which is pretty easy) you probably are not going to have the patience or work ethic to develop any of the other skills requisite to being a good dj

frankly i think the sync button just takes the soul out of the mix. it's tough to define but i don't feel right when playing on equipment with sync.

back in the day, DJs used to jesus pose when they were about to pull off a double drop. they would show the crowd their hands so that everyone knew they were secure in knowing that the mix was going to sound exactly right. nowadays it just shows that you are a clown

Some of the best and most respect DJs seem to know where I'm coming from. Traditionalism a really weak argument.

you are trying to use the argument of someone who is talking about something absolutely different to the topic you are attempting to defend.

do you see professional bicycle riders still using training wheels?

Rly cause I did it when I was 2 and a half. no joke

****in noobs

And DJing is so much more fun when you actually have to beatmatch by ear. I hate when people say it prevents you from doing other things in your mix, once your good at beatmatching you can get it done within seconds, and **** most people mix only 140 anyway so they don't even have to beatmatch lol

obviously you arent intelligent enough to understand the difference between the topic at hand, and a metaphor.

I think cook is ultrapermabanned forever. Not sure how you managed to get permabanned without posting porn 10 times but he somehow figured it out.
