Been a Matrix shooter since about 04 when i picked up my first Gen-E Matrix, bought my first DM in 05, and have had a Matrix ever since. My current gun is a hella custom DMC.
Is it still a DMC if all of the dopey plastic has been taken off of it, and the bones have been custom milled? lol people ask me what kind of gun I shoot or what it is when they see it at the field and the best response I can come up with is "mine."

The gun started its life as a DMC. All of the the silly "C" parts got removed, and what was left of the metal got custom milled in that "snakeskin" pattern by the previous owner. MaToCa did the froggy anodizing. I wanted something that was a new take on my favorite ano, the old frog species intimidator. MaToCa also made custom eye covers since the DMC covers were plastic, and a continuous flow plug since they never made one for a DM4/5/C.
Inside, the gun has an Orange SAM bolt, Lurker Ring, Virtue green "laser" eyes, and Tadao OLED board. I also put an Ultralite frame, Critical Trigger, CCM Feed, CF Boomstick with matching tip, and an AKA 2Liter+ on the gun. This gun wants for nothing. I have always been a fan of the older DM's and I would pick this over the NT I shot last weekend anyday. This was definitely the building of my dream gun. I will get some pics up in the next day or so of the gun all built back up. I am just waiting on Destructive Customs to get the reg put back together. Even with the old Hyper 2 on there it looks amazing!
I just realized the pic of the gun with the barrel tip was not working. Fixed now.

Funny story that happened at my field yesterday.
Teammates ripper Vic went down, so gave him my Dm12. After the game I asked if he liked it, he said no... I asked why and he said it was to soft of a shot 
Recently played with the LPR and definitely made a difference

^^^ Lol nice. I never really notice my IM9 shooting unless I have the back of it touching my mask, and even then it just taps it. I'm always playing with my LPR to keeping it as low possible. Screw efficiency, I like a smooth gun 
Also just got a shiny new ninja tank to match it
