I think the definition of connoisseur shall be of high importance to the basis of this thread.
Quote:
1: expert ; especially : one who understands the details, technique, or principles of an art and is competent to act as a critical judge2: one who enjoys with discrimination and appreciation of subtleties <a connoisseur of fine wines>
By definition, beers such as "Natty Light" are allow to be discussed, but only in the negative demeanor; although, any reviews are welcome, just to keep the thread in an orderly and welcoming manner.
Reviews, suggestions, favorites, overall positive, overall negative opinions are welcome and is the intention of the thread.
BREWERS: Yes, you lovable ****ers...we welcome your recipes, and opinions; PICTURES PLEASE. I love seeing home brew setups. Mine is fairly...pathetic, along with my first and only batch.
As a thread requirement, ALL posts should include the beer you are currently drinking or have most recently drank.
Stocking for winter I just grabbed some Ayinger Celebrator. One of my all-time favorites.
and in my desperation to not accept winter, I grabbed port brewing's high tide fresh hop Ipa.

Went to the Pearl Street Brewhouse in Buffalo this past weekend, has some solid beers and prices. Their oatmeal stout was great, probably make it my regular before Sabres games.
No, but I will check my local spot to see if they have any.
hill farmstead - no locations in alaska.
the alchemist - closed for the day
lawson's - closed for the day, but their triple play ipa looks delicious.

you'd have to trade for them for sure. None of them have any distribution at all, and the alchemist was more or less destroyed temporarily from all the flooding in vermont over the summer (and they only bottle/can one of their beers).
But if you ever get the chance to drink any of those breweries' beers, definitely jump on it.
I don't even know what to think. If I ever see this in a store around here I may be forced to buy it so I can sit around staring at it with a confused face.

it's only sold in Portland unless you buy it online:

Bacon Maple Ale is also available for purchase by the bottle at the Rogue Ales booth at the Portland Saturday Market and the Buckman Brewery Beer Cart at 4262 SE Belmont, Portland OR 97215.

seeing it in a store just sitting around is an unlikely "problem" to have, ha

Well then I might have to "accidentally" leave their online store open on my computer. And then "accidentally" get drunk and end up back at my computer with access to a debit card.
Actually I don't even know if I could buy this if I wanted to. NJ has awful laws about shipping alcohol if I remember correctly. I've never tried.
