y would u not own an ion? this is my 4th ion and i like them easy to work on. easy to maintain, parts are everywhere. you build this gun any way you want. and there's more parts for this gun then any other gun on the market. i built this gun from the ground up.

i have to say this, take it anyway you want but im done with the ion hating...
this ion was built with a lot of care, a lot of thought, a lot of time, if you dont like it i dont really ****ing care, its my gun, its my thoughts put into reality. thats more then any person can do with such a low budget. it rips like a high end with the cost of a low end. wen i was still testing parts for this gun. no one could hear the gun even wen there 20 feet away. this gun reflex me not you. it shows who i am and wat i can do. I wouldn't own one because I have no interest in them. From a price/performance standpoint they were amazing when they first came out but now their value is about $80 bone stock (good value for performance, no resale value whatsoever). The feel they have just doesn't float my boat (read as I don't like the trigger feel and frame. I don't like most of the aftermarkets either).

I'd wager there are more cocker parts out there then ion parts, but that's just me. Problem with cocker parts is there is a whole forum of folks dedicated to hording parts (read as customcockers ).

I have respect for something built from the ground up. To each his own. I wouldn't expect others to understand my love for the Old School Matrix.

To each there own, with the resale on things you can pick up markers that were awesome a few years ago for dirt cheap. Ie Quests, they once sold for 800$ , now you'd be lucky to get 200$. I only got 150 outta my GZ . I dropped 500 in ups for the thing ..

Just because it's the most hideous looking paintball creation I've ever seen. That frame is ugly, that body is hideous color.

Obviously, someone else (you) will disagree. But IMO, that's possibly the single ugliest paintball marker I have ever laid eyes on. And I even LIKED my Ion (Ion XE w/ Critical trigger and an on/off). Had it been cheaper to get an Autococker threaded breach for it, I'd still have it today.

way to be a dick.... i had an ion i didnt mind starting out, i thinkj it looks pretty unique, nice job man. its crazy some of the things people can do to customize certain guns, i used to love flipping through the custom ions thread haha.

my ego is thinner buts its not bad and yes its comfy, ill send it to you lol. what i really like about this gun is its light. it takes cocker barrels so i can use my eclipse kit, my deadly winds, my unitech, or my cp barrel. plus it can do 12.5 and is fully tourney legal. and the color is legal.

FOR THE PRICE it's awesome. The trigger is, at best, only OK. but it's simple, there's only like 2 dynamic orings, and it's shoots really good. Efficiency isn't exactly the most amazing thing, but as long as you're not playing outlaw ball, it'll be sufficient.

I like the flat surface above the reg/below the barrel which is why I now have a legend, but my gripe with the legend is the thick frame.

I'm in Mesa near Stapley. Haven't been in AZ long, so the only 2 places I've played are Ft. Adobe and Cowtown, and the only 2 shops I've been to is Mesa Pb supply and Command Post.
