Not to sound like a broken record, but the Demon is extremely quiet, smooth and deadly accurate. There are no needs for any aftermarket parts in my mind, so the asking price is a steal to be honest. For instance, the last tournament I played in was back in early November. The average temp. was sitting around the mid fourties with on and off rain throughout the day. The guns that were considered top of the line and cost up to or more than three to four hundred dollars for their setup then mine were having some serious melt downs/shooting soup all day. My Demon performed flawlesly all day, I had complete confidence in my gun and I was getting ball on ball accuracy and maybe broke two to three balls in the barrel all day.
All I have got to say is get your hands on one and try it out, you will not be dissapointed with this marker. Plus it is backed by an outstanding staff, which makes all the difference for me. If I come across a company with the same amount of pride and commitment that Eric and Kat have towards their product, consider me a customer for life.

I'm glad your repeating the same things that just insures interrater reliability of the marker. Sounds reliable to me

I know the main question in this thread way the reliability of the Demon. Well to give you first hand experience, I had two teams in the Las Vegas NPPL event and I can tell you that both teams started with 7 Demons for game #1 and it was the same 7 Demons you saw being used on Sunday. Not one issue and all 7 markers saw every single game. First time I have been able to say that in a long time! Vanguard markers are reliable in all weather conditions and they only get better.

If you know me, you know I am a man of my word. I am probably the first person in the US to have one of these markers in my hands. I have played professional paintball for 18 years now and have shot a ton of markers. I have been through about 7 different markers in proto type making. From the Automag to the RT to the Shocker 4X4 to the Impulse to the Shocker SFT. So you can see I have been around a long time. Every marker I shot had problems in the beginning. The Demon was just like the others but they figured everything out with the help of a few people. I have to say that my Demon is in a league of its own. As long as you keep it greased the marker shoots flawless. The customer service that is offered by Vanguard is A++ rating. If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

I got my demon today and I'm pretty excited to use it this weekend. Just out of the box and I'm already happy. I'll be using my luxe and my demon and I plan on returning with the comparisons between pooty'd luxe and out of the box demon. <3

I had some issues, but this was attributed to the stock lube they supplied, you really need dow 55.
