Irony, is there a difference in the feel when pulling the bolt off the 016 X-ring compared to the 016 urethane? or is it strictly seen on the chrono?
Yes. I did have to hand fit that xring, but once I got it right it barely grabs. I did a pinch test and it still worked, so it's perfect. Like Lurker said, when the friction goes down you can reduce the dwell.

I could be wrong, but I thought the TM15 had a longer bolt.

No, minis and axes have identical bolts. You could verify this by cross-referencing the manufacturer part numbers.

I got a mini bolt in from Empire off a mix up for replacement parts but it was substantially longer than an Axe bolt, and it was labeled as a mini bolt.

Something's not right with that... I wouldn't recommend buying anything there, but tech t has mini/axe and tm15 bolts. Also, boss and Lurker bolts it either. I think you had some mix up.

That's odd. I wonder how Empire got their parts mislabeled. I was really hoping that the mini/15 bolts would be the same. Thanks.

The only difference I can see is that the front of the bolt is longer.

Alright, maybe this will explain it...

The rear portion with the orings is the same length and everything, but the smaller diameter stem is longer, making the bolt slightly larger.

So the mini bolts aren't compatible. How different are the 15 bolts then I wonder..... Either way, my question is answered.

Obviously you have a TM15 bolt and finding a stock axe/mini bolt is easy so just measure them. To me it looks to be maybe a cm.

I'm having major issues with the bolt sticking forward. I've been using the bolt since Cup last year without issues and now all of a sudden I can't get more than 5-6 shots out without the bolt jamming forward so hard I can barely pry it off. I've relubed, changed o rings, etc, with no luck.

Anyone else having similar issues? I have the metal version of the spacer.

I don't know if it's relevant but I also never saw the results many people were seeing. I had a nice sound signature but pressure stayed pretty much the same. Dwell dropped a couple of points but not to where most people were at.

I can pretty much guarantee the spacer is blowing forward. While it's stuck degass and remove the bolt guide. I'll bet the spacer is off. I think you need the new spacer.

So i can use a 016 buna on the bolt. But i dont have the teflon white oring. My lurker bolt has a black hard oring, is that the same thing?

I put this all on the bolt before i put the spring on the bolt correct? Taper end of spring first?

Correct on all counts. If you wave the blurker that is.. The hard black is equal to the split ptfe ring

Brand new Empire Axe, lurker bolt with clam shell, all settings stock, using a ninja tank with pro reg with 2 out of 3 silver shims removed - which should make it around 550 psi.

Finally got the field today and I couldn't get my Axe to shoot higher than about 260fps. I have one of the original clamshells with spacing issues, but sanded it down with a dremel and there is no gap anymore. My regulator pressure is set at 200, and it doesn't matter how far I turn out my backcap, it won't shoot higher than 260fps.

I didn't notice any significant resistance pulling the bolt off the spacer, but just to make sure I removed the 016 and put an 015 on and there was no change, if anything it got a little worse. I am not sure what the issue is, anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried changing the last bolt guide oring?

you want some resistance on the bolt and bolt guide. also underbore will improve your velocity.
