That joke turned into a lethal combo!

Sidebar: My .678 Eigenbarrel showed up this week, can't wait to try it out tonight! I can't believe how small paint has gotten, the companies shouldn't even bother putting ".689" on the box. I had balls almost rolling through the .678!

Yea, but it's a HUGE advantage when you get a bore that fits those small balls, since it's uncommon. You'll be blown away the settings you can run and how quiet it will be

I think my Lurker bolt helped me get a 4 pack in a tourney yesterday.

I went up and bunkered the guy in Dorito 1 and then wrapped and started shooting at other players. I wasn't necessarily surprised the guy with my 1st wrap shot (I think in back center) didn't know I was there, but the next 2 guys is what surprised me. I figured they'd hear me shooting on their side of the field and I would have paint raining down on me. I don't think they heard my Axe, thanks to the Lurker bolt (and CP 1-piece barrel). I shot everybody in the back or side before they even knew what hit them.

My settings are just over 1.5 turns out on the back cap, 140 psi (I shoot a .685 barrel, so it might be lower if I shot a smaller bore), and 3.5 ms dwell.

I play snake a lot and I always get 1 or 2 guys telling me they weren't sure where I was in the snake because they couldn't hear me shooting.

Is it recommended to put lube on the outside of the spacer? I feel as though the bolt won't even come off the spacer to shoot. But, hey, it's compressed air, what do I know.

What do people mean by "1.5 turns out". I know it's the back cap, but what is 1.5 turns out of? Is it screwing in the velocity adjust all the way in, then 1.5 turns out?

I know I had a little trouble installing mine. The tolerances are a little higher for some bolt guides and my spacer wouldn't fit. I had to remove the inner o-ring, sand with 200 grit paper, try it out, remove inner o-ring, sand, try it out, remove inner o-ring etc. Then once I finally got it sanded down enough I had to force it on there pretty hard, there were plenty opportunities for things to get nicked, scratched, or break. Just be patient with it and once you get it on you will love it! It's a great bolt and worth the installation hassle.

How tight should the ideal fitment be anyway? I felt like using all stock o-rings on the guide was a little loose so I put one of the included (#12's?) on the back location as recommended by the manual. I also did the trick of breaking them all in by working the bolt back/forth with some polish then cleaning everything off before re-lubing, but it still feels a bit on the tight side.

I'm only 2 cases into this gun/bolt so obviously everything is still working its way in, I just wanted to hear how tight others were running the fitment of the bolt on the guide o-rings and the bolt on the spacer o-ring. Seems like I have my pressure a bit high to get decent results and was wondering if the tightness was causing it.

I run mine with one 012 on the slot closest to the spacer, and the other two slots have the stock 015 o-rings. It really depends on what settings you run, example: If you're running a higher operating pressure/dwell combo, the "tightness" you describe won't affect cycling speed as much as it would if you were running lower settings. See what I mean?

You do want it to be SLIGHTLY tight though. If the bolt has a noticeable wiggle while it's on the guide, then I'd say its too loose.

Could be. This is all part of tuning your gun and bolt combo. I'd suggest sticking with the one 012 at the back and leave it unless you're having problems chronoing up to your desired FPS. Also keep in mind that over time the o-rings will break in more and more.

I think that was only with the original ones - mine never needed any sanding.

Use very fine grit sandpaper, and just sand a TINY bit if necessary. Mine was one of the OG Eigenbolt spacers and definitely needed a sand. If you can get it on without it, then you're OK.
