6 months with no end on sight for even the pre order.. Hope either paintballdog knew it would be this long or gets a little more compensation then a free board.

I am sorry if you feel it has taken too long... But you need too know that developing a board from scratch is not that easy.. All the electronics and other small things that go into the board that I dont even understand... I think we are the only board company right now that is developing a board for a company that is not even in buisness anymore.. Please be patient...

Understandable! Is the owner of the legend you guys are testing being informed of the whole process; and when the process will be done with the board and his gun returned to him?

I can not honestly answer that.. I would hope that they are... I only get updates of the status and I check in often to see progress, but I don't know of how that process is going...

I know on here I come across as a major dick. I Appologize for that. I am to an extent impressed that 7th is making a board for the legend. I guess my frustration comes from being told upfront it would be a somewhat simple process. By now expected to have pre orders underway or over with. The legend board in short is one of the simplest boards out there. So to me the only real r/d would be the feasibility of fitting it in with limited space. And while yes I understand we are a smaller out of run marker with limited fan base still around and limited to no profit for 7 th after it's all said and done but being told the legend board is put on the back burner while other markers are expedited doesn't come off right. From personal experience I believe in treating every customer, from the guy walking in dropping 100k on a membership to the guy who wants a $5 range bucket the same way with same respect and all. Manager at a golf course. Just where my personal gripes come from and where some others may or may not agree with.
Will say my g6r is liking the extra love and parts it's receiving in the mean time though.

Yeah i haven't been updated on this project in a while. i just hate having to be the one to reach out to them. Esp when we are here, half a year later, when i was told 30-45 days maximum.
Im not like SUPER ANGRY, or SO PISSED. but i used my legend every time i play paintball. So id love to have it back. and id love to be updated about where my gun is, and why we are over the quota by 5 months.

I've sold and bought another legend since this thread was started (made a mistake getting rid of it, so picked up a better/stronger/newer legend).
I will be buying this board when it's avail, please keep this thread updated.
to the original op, you might want to take the manufacturers posts and edit them into the first post for anyone new looking (or those with ADD who cannot focus enough to scroll through 4 pages) can see the progress right away instead of searching through.

So how 'bout that board? Think I just fried my Tadao. I'd love to pick up the Seventh Element. If it's coming soon, I'll wait!

Been 3/4 a year and no word.. I dont know man! If you have a back up marker, just wait! But, if its your main marker, dont expect it to come soon! They havent even done pre-orders

Grrrrrrr. Well, my personal opinion is that despite the wait, we should still feel grateful that any aftermarket part is being made for the Legend at all. Once the board comes out, we'll have our upgraded markers for a lot longer than we waited for them to get to it. Even though we are understandably at the bottom of the priority list, a ballpark time frame should be possible though, and helpful. If I knew the board would be coming out in three months, say by mid-September, I'd wait, but if not til mid-December, I'd pick up another Tadao now. If we had been given a one year time frame from the start, a lot of people would have had more patience. Then, if Seventh Element finished ten months later, we would be like, 'Wow! Early!' In any case, I'm still grateful, even if the process hasn't been ideally convenient. So thank you Seventh Element! And having said all that, after all these months...any possibility of at least ballpark finish date? If not, it's cool it's cool ... as long as the wheels are rolling and that guy's marker is not merely collecting dust in a corner somewhere... Are we closer to a completion date in ...
A. 3 months
B. 6 months
C. 9 months
D. 1 year ?

Well they said some time ago they determined it was feasible to make a board so was supposed to be to the pre order from my initial understanding of the timeline they laid out at day 1.
