Karnivor

hey everyone,
yesterday my girlfriend gave me my christmas gift early and it turned out to be a pro edition karni made me cry almost since its what was cool when i was growing up and i never got the chance to own a cocker of my own or shoot a nice one. Anyways i know how to clean the bolt (pretty obvious), but i went and read the manual online and it says put oil in your asa for the reg, i know its what it says todo but with my experiance and a paintballers general knowledge oil and hpa dont mix well and can lead to a saftey issue. just want to make sure that its okay to do it and if im correct it will give the lube required to make my hammer and all the internals properly running. any help you can give me will be appreciated since i dont know anything about cockers.

Thanks

Oil and HPA don't mix in the bottle due to the pressures. Once it's coming out of the bottle, it will no longer be explosive due to the significnatly lower pressures.

And yes, Karni's should still be oiled with a few drops of oil in the asa, dry fire a dozen times, then remove and wipe the bolt clean. That's it. No need for anything further.

oil into the asa is fine but oil into the tank is bad. so a few drop of oil into your asa and dry firing is what our suppose to do. only real way to get oil into the tank is if you put it into the fill nipple of the tank

I always oil the ASA before using any marker when going to the field.

I also like to put some nice grease/dow33 on the bolt, just a small layer. Makes a nice seal and helps with consistency a little bit, I've noticed.

your meant to be able to put oil into your ASA the oil is fine at 850 psi its not good when you put it into the fill-nipple of your tank where its 3000/4500 psi

oil based lubes will detonate between 1k and 2k psi typically. dont ever put it in ur tank! u will die upon filling it, no joke. Put oil in the asa (vertical asa that is, remove the reg, put a few drops in there. iv noticed u can put it in the on/off asa, but the threas there can get dirty so u just pust dirty oil into the gun, put it in the vertical asa imo. leave it at factory fast eblade settings (E1) idk what is good for E2, but factory is the best typically. have fun with it! I love my karnis!
