I'm looking into the Tacamo mag conversion kit because I think it's a cool concept. Plus theres big games popping up around here that have specific mag only rules. My question is instead of buying the whole $100 kit could I just buy either of these to accomplish the same thing?.. I'm not sure if these kits actually feed paintballs or not.

What type of marker are you trying to make mag fed? 98, A5, etc...

Nope, you would need to buy the whole MKV kit.

Your first link leads to a dummy mag. All that magazine does is replace for froegrip.

Your second link leads to the adapter kit for the MKV. RAP4 sells the MKV in 2? ways, kit and hopper. The adapter kit transforms the RAP4 MKV into a mag-fed marker as the MKV is designed to go both ways. You can actually just buy the MKV from RAP4 pre-assembled for hopper style, and this is the adapter that should really already be included with it.

You would need to buy the kit and transfer your internals from your 98C into it. The kit comes with both the mag-feed kit and the hopper kit.

Being an owner of a MKV kit, I was very unhappy with mine BUT I did get a low serial number, so you should be all set.

You will have to buy the whole kit at without you would have to do some serious modifications such as milling the body, relocating the detent, cutting a bottom feed, and a lot more.

Its easier with the Tacamo kit, just swap the internals and it even comes with the 20 round mag that is normally $37.

Could also just buy a whole MKV marker and buy the D-Mag conversion that should be coming out shortly. But that can be any length of time knowing RAP4.
