Build the RAREST imp ever!

I was curious what you guys thought about this. If we (as a group) wanted to build the rarest impulse around, what parts would be in the gun? I am talking every single part. You can't just say SIC or Hyperpulse. The impulse doesn't necessarily have to be the best, just using the most rare parts. Here is the template we would have to fill in...

body:
board:
trigger frame:
trigger:
feedneck:
reg:
VA:
hammer:
ram housing:
ram shaft:
valve:
bolt:
bolt pin:
LPR/tapeworm:
other accessories:

If i am missing anything let me know. I will include my thoughts as we go.

ill play
body: i guess custom would be rarest. otherwise probably sic i cant remember from that pl guide which was rarest.
board:km2 would be rarer than most
trigger frame:dynamix pti
trigger: not many fbm scythes or werm sticks around.
reg: pi or maybe a toxic cp are rarer
va: zenitram or whatever was on the silver imp in my sig i sold was the only one i had ever seen before.
hammer: rat hole was rarer and best otherwise maybe a kapp adjustable
housing: maybe acid customs custom made one?
shaft: demonic made a titanium i think that was hollow, never seen one.
valve: probably lucky valve
bolt: ipb werm undertoe are nice and rare. hybrid multi bolt ive only ever seen one of (its on ebay right now for sale if someone wants it)
pin: function delrin (came with bolt) or the sp titanium are good and both kind of rare
lpr: maybe an eclipse lpr kit with some rare lpr. macdev sonic or an scm3 would be good.

just guessing for fun and parts ive never seen much of

edit: feedneck: demonic strangler

hammer: rat hole was rarer and best otherwise maybe a kapp adjustable - delrin rathole is pretty darn rare.

i'd say the rarest would be the IOG imp since so few were made.

ive seen a few morlocks here and there on guns. it was a universal board i believe. if not km2 made morlocks for different guns. dont know for sure, but ive only seen 2 genesis boards for imps ever anywhere.

dynamix made a grip frame or modded a stock one. it was real similar to stock, but it had its own trigger and used a piezo electric sensor in place of a switch like most every other electro, so you had to have your board modded minorly like werm frames did. never seen a pti in person though only a couple online. they were $175 new i think so pretty steep back then. i used to have a werm frame

i thought the fbm scythe was rare.there is a white one on ebay for referance. they made an i frame trigger seperate, and milkman triggers were modded dm triggers i thought. or he made them?

ive never seen a delrin rathole thats new to me.

morte are there any pics of the iog imps? never seen or heard of that either.

sry, don't have any pics of the IOG imp. it basically had the old IOG logo milled into it.

a rare rathole is an evil rathole which was a SS evil hammer with the holes drilled into it. e-pboutlet sent me one by mistake when i ordered my NdZ version.

if you ask ken448 about this he may know more about it than i do since he was on staff there befoe i was. i'd expect there was a bit of talk in the mod forums before they went ahead and had them made.

The iOG imp was one of a kind made by the people that did the predator. Eric Hammond had it made ( EJH28 ). It was a thing of beauty complete with a Scepter Barrel annoed to match. That I know of, it was the only one made. Eric sold it to BackTriggerMan who EBayed it then it all started to get parted out. Another rare one was the puke annoed rat and the pink rat that twitchytrigger bought from dave (one of the rat factory/WAS factory guys). It was ahead of its time as far as pink guns go. And I will have to see if - can track down a pic of the puke anno as I called it.

though the green rat was a very very close second, my favorite rat is the sewer rat which is a hershey bar chocolate brown. i suppose a lot of the rats were rare since some like the sewer rat were made in such small quantities. guess it wasn't the rat itself but the ano lots that made them rare.

I already have some ideas in mind

body: UL milled by Elia, but not halfbacked. Just remove as much meat as possible and leave it full-bodied.
board: UTB
trigger frame: DM5 UL
trigger: Dye Reach
feedneck: Empire Nano
reg: Something small but consistent.
VA: NDZ
hammer: Modified NDZ or Rathole
ram housing: NDZ
ram shaft: NDZ
valve: NDZ
bolt: Shocktech or NDZ
bolt pin: Stock or NDZ, flushed (nothing sticking up above the body.
LPR/tapeworm: NDZ
other accessories: Breakbeam eyes, left side ran between upper and lower tubes, custom left eye cover, copper anodizing, custom lazer engraving.

This is actually what I wanted to do with my Impulse. It'll never happen, but I can still dream.

I wouldn't consider custom bodies rare, custom- yes; but not rare.

^^ agreed. That being said I would think the hyperpulse would be the rarest body out there.

I had a stock body impy back in the day and had the money to get it Sic shorty milled then line green and yellow anno. Instead I ended up buying Paul McCords prototype custom milled IMP and back then he played for Detroit Thunder and was from where I'm from and is still one of my fav players of all time. Humble dude. Sad I didn't get the sic body though bc I figured I would have another shot lol little did I know...

body: Hyperpulse. Meteor maybe, but it was custom.
board: KM2, although I think they were universal. Amber light Vision board.
trigger frame: PTI, hands down. In the more attainable area, single trigger I-frame or single trigger AIM frame.
trigger: PTI came with its own trigger. Adrenalin stick trigger is rare for Adrenalin frames though.
feedneck: Demonic Strangler probably.
reg: Armageddon reg with HSW gas-thru. lol, probably never even had one set up like that.
VA: No idea.
hammer: Rathole hammers are pretty rare.
ram housing: No idea.
ram shaft: I know someone made a titanium shaft.
valve: Lucky or Eclipse probably.
bolt: Undertoe or Low blow. Both were bolts that tried to create backspin.
bolt pin: Nothing comes to mind. Flush Delrin pins were rare to see on Imps, but can be commonly found/made.
LPR/tapeworm: Can't remember seeing an AKA lpr on one. The SCM would probably reject the gun anyway.
other accessories:

even if the scm went on the gun without blowing up the aka guys would come to your house and beat you up.
i didnt think meteor were too rare, but maybe thats just because i know a guy with one.
i guess if custom doesnt fit then would you have to use something that had a run done? the iog imp is basically just custom but named. then maybe the dragon imp was bad ***.
the hotrod/blizzard was one i have seen very little of. only 1 picture ever.

this thread had some numbers of the pl imps:
http://www.pbnation.com/showthread.php?t=3189262
just numbers people had so rough guesses but at least that many were made

Yeah, I meant to type Blizzard. Not sure how I confused them.

I was just thinking that custom's are common, even if each is unique. I'd say if a run were made of them, they'd be right in. All the FBM's were made to order I believe, so they wouldn't really fit in.
