If theres no power getting through, either your batteries ****ed or if you didn't test the wires to see if powers going through you might need a higher gauge wire to fully power the amp.

It doesn't provide enough power.
You do realize that in a car, you have the alternator constantly recharging the battery and powering all your accessories, right?
This is why people don't do this.

This is such a bad idea on so many levels...... Really. As a Firefighter, and former car audio installer, I would urge you to not do this. But since you will anyway, here is some info. As you know they are 2 different types of current. The car audio runs on direct current, and the house on alternating current. The charger you are using isn't going to understand the draw you want, and the battery isn't going to produce the current, and amperage without the constant charging. You need to eliminate the car battery from the equation all together. What you need is a power supply. This is how tattoo guns, or computers convert the AC to DC. Or a transformer. You are going to build up to much resistance, and burn your house down. Not to mention that the subs will sound like **** in the large airspace. Sell your stuff on craigslist, and get a home audio set up, or beats studio headphones, before you burn your house down and kill everyone.......

I agreed with you up until you recommended Beats headphones.

I had a PSU from a old computer but I'm just having trouble getting it to power on other wise yes I'd much rather use that than having the charger going and burn down my house

1. 135amp couldn't power your electronics but you think a car battery is going to be able to...?
2. You have to jump the computer PSU. But it's probably not going to provide sufficient wattage.
3. I wasn't saying Beats are expensive. They just suck. A good set of cans is absolutely worth it for an audiophile.

Your amp isn't 100% efficient. It takes more than 400w to make 400w.
And low-end PSUs are often more than overrated.
Just sayin'.

I second that.
Audio Technica's $122 pair ****s on the Dre Beat Tours... which are like $450.
My sony MDR-V6 blows most of the beats stuff out of the water and it's beat to hell.

What's better though running a PSU and under powering the amp or running a battery and charger in my room?

This clearly won't work. Your room is not a car; buy a 5.1 setup, it'll sound better and you won't have a big box of acid that has to be charged all the time. Stop gettin mad
