^ Agreed, and I have a couple of very cool improvements that I think will keep up the Alien brand as innovation not just duplication.
However I will be keeping the double stacked as well. It will still be, as far as I can see, a little better on efficiency, lower maintenance and easier to clean in case of paint breakage.
Yes, guns break very little paint now and spools are getting much closer in efficiency and getting better on Active O-Rings = maintance.
I hate it when a gun maker says "We only have one moving O'Ring" when they have 3 or 5 Active O'Rings. Then some ignoramus runs around quoting that like it means anything.
Note to Ignoramuses: It's the size of the O'Ring that is moving, or the surface being moved on it, AND the air pressure that is put on that O-Ring, AND the hardness of the O-Ring, AND the size of the gap between the two surfaces that determines the distortion of the O-Ring.
Smaller gap = less distortion.
Lower pressure = less distortion.
Smaller O'Ring & less O'Rings = less overall distortion.
Less distortion = less friction.
Less Friction = less FSDO and better cold weather play.
No where in that is whither or not the O'Ring moves. The difference is Static O'Ring or Active O'Ring. Moving or not moving is Ignorance.
I'm done now. thanks
