Pretty sure you can usually do either if you call them direct. Custom colors will obviously cost you more money though.....doing a one off isn't cheap.

wait so you shoot a rogue, a zodiac, and an indy? Its like looking into a mirror!?!
Do you just like the unusual american companies? Are you into the whole underdog producing a better product thing? I am just so curious.

Just going to throw this out there:
Having wraparound contoured rubber grips which are a bit more beefy than the average grip and an inline venting on/off ASA (like NDZ, MacDev, Vanguard) would be epically nice.
The rest can stay the same for all I care.
Or extend bore back lengths to at least 7 Inches with a non-tapering tip or barrel milling that matches the HPR.
That'd do epically good and then I can keep the stock barrel on there....
That being said if there is something around a .682 to use.

i would like to see, in order of most importance:
1. a full metal body, frame, reg with quality and exotic milling. (no rubber on foregrip, the indy is the higher end gun, and should feel that way.)
2 a lightened bolt pin and ram, maybe titanium, also a shorter bolt
3 round edges between the reg and frame.. that sharp edge kills me without gloves on, and i dont like wearing gloves.
4 a limited run of crazy milling (loved the SL) and more anno options, including polished!!
5 smaller better faster stronger.
Im not saying the indy isnt already these things, and its hard to find things to improve on. i will suggest that you release it later in the year as the 2013 model and alternate revisions of the invasion and indy every other year. i know a lot of companies are starting to do this and its a very good idea. gives people time to save for the higher end guns, and time for you to refine and perfect each design. also, you gotta jump on the webpage guy. alien need a good, updated and easy to use website with more pictures and descriptions of features.

Rubber fore grip is Invasion a mid $60 gun - and really? Because I like the rubber fore grip at any price

OK for Indy, but on mid $6 hundred gun - how much more $$ do players want to pay?

I'm eager to see what sort of spool valve you're working on.

Idk if this is known or not, but alien is is making a spoolie soon, and from what I understand (from talking to jack), the independence is a bit behind it in priority

I have been working on a spool for 3+ years - so "soon" is a "relative" thing. In any case don't look for one this year.
As far as Independence, yea, not a priority. more players want a lower cost gun. that is why we put all the feature we reasonably could into the Invasion. Didn't make it less to justify paying more

i was saying for the indy. even if on the new indy you make the rubber removable. i love the invasion and the concept of it. its a great gun at a great price. keep the invasion right where it is. For the indy, i wanna see what ya got jack!

No macroline!
Critical trigger.
A better ASA setup than the Invasion, that doesn't require several steps to remove the tank. Even if this means a "classic" ASA and reg setup.
Wraparound grips.
OLED display in the rear of the gripframe, like the new G6R and FX.
Made In The USA!
And as long as this is simply a wishlist.......
APE Gen5 OLED.
Barrel back that accepts Freak inserts.

Yeah, a fully enclosed system as well as some magnetically assisted ram system would be bomb.
