Seattle Thunder will be holding open tryouts on January 14/15 2012 at Diamond Hill Paintball in Harrisburg, OR. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a competitive and professionally run organization.
We are looking for players for our Professional team and 8-10 players for our new D1/Semipro Feeder. Both teams will be competing in the 2012 NPPL 7-man series which begings in Huntington Beach on March 30/2012.
Our goal is to build an organization that has a steady influx of new players and players that are making the progression from the D3 to D1/semipro level and then ultimately join our professional roster. The owners of Seattle Thunder are committed to growing local talent from the ground up, and will strive to 'promote from within' the organization when looking for players to bump up to the next level. We strongly believe in promoting paintball in the Northwest, and giving all the tournament players a new focus and a new goal that will reward the hours of practice and the dedication it takes to play on a national level. This will truly be a Northwest organization made up of Northwest players.
This is not a free ride. However some fantastic sponsorships are in place for 2012 and will be discussed with those that are chosen for the respective teams.
You must have the following:
•Dedication: Serious players that have the drive to do what is necessary to be able to play semipro/professional paintball.
•Skill: We are building a competitive team, if you don't have experience this isn't for you.
•Financial Support: You need to have a reliable income to play paintball at the national level.
•Attitude: You need a good attitude and good work ethic.
Diamond Hill Paintball is running field paint only for this event. Cost will be $60 for a case of paint and entry fee. Additional cases can be purchased for $45/case.
Any questions/comments/concerns can obviously be posted in this thread, PM'd to myself (JJ Roth) or talk to Corey Field or Audrey Whiddon at DHP
