You are even claiming that an NT has a straight trajectory over other spoolies. So this isnt even a poppit vs spoolie argument.

I've shot nearly every type of paintball marker under the sun & while i will not argue about what is most ergonomic or whether poppits and spoolies have different trajectories, you will not be shooting without an arc at 80 feet.
|
80ft is a rough estaminet I was just throwing number out there to help show my point. I know which way was i claiming that exact number.... I know its not a poppit vs spoolie argument. I was just simply stating that it has the straightest trajectory out of the guns i have shot.

Which is exactly why I said it's in your perspective. If the gun feels more ergonomic, you will believe it shoots better.
Btw, calling someone an idiot because they took your words literally instead of figuratively is very poor sport.

Why would only the NT owners not know how to take care of their guns. So this would suggest that it is not just the owners, but rather a problem with the gun. I do like dye and I love their barrels, but in this case I think the NT is close to being a lemon for them. Now the DM, that is another story, it seems to get a lot of praise and average complaints like any marker.

People don't take care of their guns. I do and mine's never had a problem and shoots great. Theres plenty of people who have say Geos who don't take care of them properly and have issues. Look at all the Ego problem threads. I like both the Ego and NT but every gun has problems if the owner doesnt take care of it.

Id prefer the OP got an EGO11 so he can keep stupid threads like this with you guys. We in the NT forum wont stand for **** like this!
I will say my NT shoots flatter than my dm12 and they both have the same ergos. Physics will get you nowhere fast since paintballs arent solid objects.

|
no because Eclipse marketing is genius and they can convince their followers that their marker is perfect....... such as you..... they can continue selling this platform for as long as they like without spending more money putting out a new marker every year...... Fantastic marketing...
Just ask anyone who has owned a g6r or a 2010/11 alien indy, the shot on those markers are smoother and calmer, the efficiency on those markers are better than the ego, and they run at a much lower operating pressure than the egos.....The ego is a fantastic marker! but its far from perfect....... but thats a whole nother topic for a whole nother time.....
to the OP, like the level headed people in here have said, if you take care of your marker it will take care of you, granted the maintenance on the ego is much easier, the decision is on you....... you might like how one marker feels and shoots over the other, typical spool/poppet

I shot an NT back in 2007 which was the last time Dye put out ANY kind of original gun. The PM8 used the DM9 bolt kit which is pretty much the same kit as the current matrix. With that said, if you're getting a Dye gun, save yourself a lot of money and buy a PM8. It shoots like EVERY Dye gun made since 2007, weighs less and costs far less.
Why would you buy an NT when it shoots like a Matrix but costs more and uses about three times more parts in the bolt kit? They're a pointless gun just like every DM since 07.
How's that for a 'mindless opinion'?

Since the NT didn't exist yet I'm gonna say that there is no way you could have shot one in 2007.

Obviously you're not making the connection that the NT shoots like every gun using a FUSE bolt kit since 2007...

Ive shot them and they don't feel like anything that uses a fuse bolt to me. The NT platform has always felt like it kicks more. not as much as most poppets but definitely more then a DM.

It's funny how every nt11 owners I've come across say the same thing.." it shoots so straight, but it's picking depending on the temperature outdoors""
I understand personal preference on the markers cuz everyone has a different taste on what they want..
I shoot a bob long vice and it beats the ego 8 @ that time both came out in comparison( I've shot the ego 8 and it feels similar, but the vice is alot smoother)Pretty much what I'm trying to say is I have a chance to upgrade to a higher prize range in markers and I don't want to get that shoots the same as my vice.. I want something different as in how it feels when you aim ,comfort, and of course comfort....
I'm also looking @ the ego CSL.. Is it better then the ego11?? If yes, what does it have that makes it better??
Thanks for the help brothers... KEEP PAINTBALL ALIVE
