The Omen is a closed bolt, sear-tripping blow-back if you wanted to know its operation.

well.. to be truthful.. and i might have already posted this.. the back block is an un-needed part of the omen.. they just added it to give it that autococker look... it plays no part in the actual fire of the gun.. but its still killer looking anyways and i dont think it would be as popular without the back block.. im just mainly pointin out a fact that most people probably know.. but for the few that dont.. they are now enlightened by the almighty one

ok ok, im gettin really full of myself now better stop

Actually, the bacl block keep the bolt carrier strait and stops it from getting out of line.

ok ok, if you want to get all techinal about it.. if the back block is such a needed thing then how come theres a modded omen with a back block that doesnt move..

its called flush cockin, and evil could have done it if they wanted.

but they probably wanted to keep the autococker look like i said..

and it doesnt have to do with the cycling of the gun it all.. it just keeps things in order..

so explain how i was so extremely wrong.. i was probably more right then wrong in the post that i made above.. and it wasnt intended for anyone to get mad about..

when examing the animation it looks to me like theres no actual need for the back block in the actual firein of the marker.. and all that needs to stick out could be the cocking rod.. or actually, they could have just ditched the entire hammer cockin rod and go with a bolt top cockin mechinism and the back could have been cut off about a centermeter or 2.. or the length of the back block

I have a few questions about the Omen...

Can you adjust the bounce with the stock chip?
What barrel threads?
Easier or harder than a cocker to time?
Can I run 800psi into the stock reg?
(I have a HP screw in tank)
Dose anyone have the exact weight?
Is the trigger frame plastic or aluminom (sp?) or some composet?
There is a 2nd flap in the cam feed sys to prevent the next ball in the stack to fall behind the 1st flap which is feeding the ball that is about to be fired, correct?

Thanks so much for your help guys. I was refered here by someone on another forum. I am debaiting a B2K w/PDS or a Evil Omen, so far the omen is winning

Thanks,
M

nope

cocker

Easier or harder than a cocker to time?

You dont have to time it, you have to adjust the recock, read the FAQ

Can I run 800psi into the stock reg?
(I have a HP screw in tank)

That is perfect, HP is best so you wont starve the gun

Dose anyone have the exact weight?

I'd weigh it for ya but my scale sucks

Is the trigger frame plastic or aluminom (sp?) or some composet?

Aluminum

yea, anti-doubler arm

Omen is sweet, shoot both and see what u like

Thanks,
M
