I think brushless in an 1/8 would be FTW. Though I could just see the cost of a few lipo packs, a good charger, brushless esc, and motor costing double that of a good Italian engine and a rocking header/pipe combo.

i know Losi got together with Castle Creations to create that new brushless kit for the 8ight series, i think that's what i'm gonna end up buying for the winter

all that for less than a Novarossi or a GRP, but this can run indoors  ...only $50 more than my V-Spec was tho

errr that doesn't look like it includes
-motor mounts
-32 pitch pinion
-battery straps
how much is a decent lipo chargers and 3 good lipo battery packs.
gotta add all the **** up before you start comparing costs

we make our own mounts and such, we're used to doing conversions on our buggies, but this is the 1st one i'd buy directly from Losi...and the 32 pitch pinion is all of $1.00, but the rest will be made  ...oh, we have all our lipo chargers, balancers and all the sort already

oh, no doubt...it would cost around $800 for a good conversion kit, it's only smart for me because i have all the **** i need, i just need the motor and ESC

OMG... I'm am jelous, You must have a good job! thats quiet a pricy collection you got there.
I used to have a beam e4, I quit R/C till I get my Anodizing buisiness up and running.

OK, while you suck at making videos...you are an incredible heli pilot. Ive been watching more and more heli videos lately, and thats the best flying I have seen yet. Very nice.
